yoooo @warbeats, I don't know if you realize how important this vid (and pt. 1) is to KZbin history for producers and beat makers. i started making beats in 06 at 20y/o and had no clue what i was doing. The little I did learn was definitely polished after coming across your vid! all had access to was a PC. nothing else, so I had no clue what an MPC type beat was lol. these days, almost 16 years later, I actually use an MPC One in conjunction with FL studios, but the fundamentals in this vid still apply to this day! thanks bro! I also miss the warbeats forum as well 😥. good days

RESPECT for you, If it wasnt for nfx, most people wouldnt know shit about FL

I cant speak for everybody but I think Audition is easier to work with. You can zoom in better, you can preview loops, and it has more tools when you need to do things like invert, compress, etc. The next versionof FL will have Edison in it which is a much improved WAV editor so I'll have to check that out. For now though, I can work much faster in Audition.

I'm cant see what Grim wrote since the comment was modded down too much, but when I made this video it was several years ago. I referenced what was available at the time. For example, Edison was not in FL at that time or I might have used or referenced it.

you have to match the tempo to the samples. That's why he did the 2 bar thing so they would fit the pattern samples.

If you right click the pitch knob and click "reset" or whatever it says. It resets the pitch back to original before stretching!

LOL! of course you think the tools make or break you. I think that it doesn't matter. If you have skillz you can make FL sound great. But I guess some people need a crutch to hold on to, so keep holding on to that dream pal. Post a link to your trax so we can hear how great you are.
