Fl is definitely the one I’m sticking with. I’ve nearly spent two years with it and I’ve become really fast at making things. Fl really isn’t the greatest for beginners, but I highly recommend it to anyone who has been doing music for a while and doesn’t want to search their whole song for that one pattern that they want to use again.

I'm considering it because of the free updates. Upgrades are expensive. I have Cubase and Studio One. $150 Studio One upgrade, and $200 to go from Cubase 12 Pro to 14 Pro.

@Cody-zj8ne2 жыл бұрын
honestly having used all 3 daws for an extended period of time, I feel like these results can largely vary based on the persons workflow, for instance i would have never done the drums like ocean did with logic, my process would have been more similar to something in FL studio with an actual step sequencer, as well as recording each thing by playing it out like ed did, rather than the blocky approach he took. That's not to say anything bad against ocean, or logic, however a producer proficient in all of a daws key commands could probably out speed all 3 of these people with their own workflow.
@LynneTendo2 жыл бұрын
I saw this video in my sub feed and was like "aww this is only 4:26 long? damn..." but it was luckily jam-packed with content! I loved this so much, it was fun to watch how the DAWs and _the lads_ fared. Everything was so in-character for everyone, scripts couldn't have been written more clearly than this. Y'all are the best! Also lmaooo stopp those official subs at 4:03 are mighty illegal 😂

LPX has multiple sequencers. A new one in pattern mode and the old one in Ultra Beat
@soneiricmusic52362 жыл бұрын
Ocean used to use ultra beat a lot but stopped. I can see why, it wasn’t the best when using non stock sounds. I’ve heard about the new actual step sequencer tho but rarely see anyone use it
@blankblank49492 жыл бұрын
all daws have the ability to be great. I personally love Ableton Live because of the workflowS. I have not seen a single producer lay down a beat the same way I do, the clip/session view just makes it so much easier for me to create a section of a song and after i have there are so many ways I can use that scene to expand upon it. I actually find it really weird that so many people use Live in arrangement view for their entire production workflow.
