Max Ivanov is currently working as a skills coach with the Florida Panthers in the NHL. He has also worked with the Pittsburgh Penguins (winning 2 Stanley Cups) and in the KHL (where he also won a championship).

I have a quick question, I'm right-handed and I use a right-handed stick since 2nd grade and now I'm in 10th. I feel that my stickhandling and shot could improve if I learned to use a left-handed stick. Is the switch worth it or should I learn to make my left hand stronger in its ability to control the top of my stick?

Bailey, I do everything righthanded except hockey. Get a lefthanded stick from a friend and skate with it everyday for a week. You will know then what is best for you, YUP?

I am Agreeing with magic marker being used as for and of push pull when navigating. As instead of a bracket line to work around arguing with movement that doesn't exist. Use brackets for passing angles though EH.

Впаривает дичь. Никому это силовое катание не нужно в современном хоккее. И малкин и кросби деревянные стали. Нужна супер скорость, а не способность продавить соперника. Ну может для ВХЛ еще пойдет. Или для НХЛ (которая ночная хоккейная лига). Вот там клиентов будет хоть отбавляй.
