People in Tindrem have made a tradition of exploiting a blue healing another blue. Honestly, they should just seal up the holes in it. I think when thievery comes along it would be cool to have a system where victims determine the value of the crime. As to say, if you had the money and influence available, you should be able to extend a criminals timer by using resources. Say a criminal kills "the King's horse" so to speak... the king could pay the area to extend the criminal timer or something.

If a vet kills a new player, the vet should go insta red, +10 murder counts. Check out Ashes of Creation for their proposed criminal system, can give you ideas.

And i think if you are murderer 10+ kills you should have disadvantages like expensive vendor prices for example if spirit box 2 gold for murderer its 10 and that means for all goods. Dont know about broker but if 20+ murderer broker could be banned for that guy in any town. P.s ofc 10+ murderers banned to trade with other people. I think it would be fair.

@@hitout3541 yea, the fact they let a murderer walk into a city with like 30 laser-beam arrow guards standing around seems immersion breaking. Not sure why they can't just make people actually deal with the consequences of it. A new character could push 5 people 11 times and be banned from the city, meanwhile a dude with thousands of murders could theoretically enter it if he delivers the mail constantly? or does high end tasks? yea... idk. I accept that it has to be messy, but just laying down on obviously busted systems made to satisfy low-skill sadists that ruin immersion really pushes me to go find something else pretty often lol.

Thanks. As a new player, I found this very useful. The only thing you didn't cover was status when using necro spells...I noticed I have to toggle on criminal actions to cast any of my necro spells. What status does that make me with other players?

If you use necro. You’ll be a grey criminal temporarily.

Same with ritualism I believe. I don’t think you can bring your undead pets into town. Idk I got killed by guards the other day healing my undead chicken.

Yeah necro makes you temporary gray because its a forbidden school. Also necro pets are forbidden guards hate them.

no amount of punishment will deter red players from murdering other players. when players are fully red players its because they've already accepted that the restrictions were the norm. so making the punishment heavier for killing yellows is basically useless

I think any PvP action should have punishment of different degree up to permanant red.

I actually laughed when I heard that you might get two murdercounts instead of one. I have about 900 murdercounts on my main red. I stopped carrying a long time ago :) To be fair I wouldn't kill a yellow flagged player if indeed there is no possibility for them to carry something of great value, but that's pretty much the only reason.

Criminal and war status is 240 seconds (four minutes), not five.

Local gray is very dodgy system, in a lot of times it makes little sense.

NONE of this matters if you have enough standing... a criminal or red player can go into town and not be harassed by guards if they have enough standing with that town's faction. And having murderers being able to defend themselves while YOU as a blue player get the murder count is BS

Guards protect you from any and all aggression. Only if you CHOOSE on ur own to attack a Red Player are you in danger. If you attacked a red player in town and get killed don't complain. You played yourself. Use your brain. And red players cannot give you murdercounts. So you are lying.
