The fact that Tony was 24 hours out from finally getting the green light to be on the show blows my mind. Not only that, he had to fight to actually get up on stage and give a performance actually blows my fucking mind. I’ve watched hundreds of KT episodes and my respect for Tony is the highest it’s ever been. It’s awesome how he broke down the process of getting the call, haggling with the executives to let him cook. Everyone’s that’s watched KT knows Tony is one of the wittiest, funniest comics ever. As a long time fan, I’m so freaking happy to see him finally get his big moment and absolutely murdered it.

@russt9478
@russt9478 5 ай бұрын
@@Sid00077 You have a point there... However, with this being the internet, podcasters don't have to play by the rules of traditional television and radio. A podcast doesn't have to be just 1 hour or 30 minutes on the dot. They already know that listeners are consuming while driving, working or at the gym. So you don't have to go 2 or 3 hours either. But you can definitely go for an hour 15 or an hour 30. So they can let the conversation go a little bit longer. I think Mark Maron rushes sometimes as well. He's always interrupting and answering The question that he just asked his guest. Apparently that's his thing, but it would be nice if he could ask a question and then shut up and let the person Express their thought before he chimes in. Oh well. Not even worth complaining...but it does annoy me. Anyway, best to thank them all for the free entertainment and try to get out to see them live

Its not like that at all. Jeff didn't, and isnt going to, "pass the torch" to anyone. Tony AND Nikki simply stepped up onto the "winners podium", in 2nd and 3rd place along side him. Jeff Ross is the Executive Producer of ALL THESE ROASTS, ...and its Jeff Ross that MAKES THESE ROASTS HAPPEN! ...and that makes them so good. Yes, Tony is AWESOME at PERFORMING on them, but he IS NOT ORGANIZING THEM, ...and WON'T BE! And in case you missed it, it was TONY HIMSELF that made that point.

This one flew by. To hear such a technical pov from a monster virtuoso of this craft is a privilege. Comedy is so enjoyable and disarming it’s easy for us consumers to forget how brilliant it is to craft one new joke that universally kills. Great comedy is really like art, science and fighting in one art form.

I don't get why do many people shit on Bert. Before and during Covid, comments everywhere were inside jokes about him, people saying they "love Burnt Chrysler" and for the last year, the majority of the comments are hating on him.
