Yeah okay, I guess I've been away for quite a while...
Hey everyone, guess what? I'm not dead. I've been enjoying myself over on Monster Hunter World so I haven't played TF2 that much. After Monster Hunter World was released, I didn't play at all TF2 for like a month. However I decided to not make other videos about after the "I've missed you" -video, because I know from experience that you guys wouldn't have liked that. But hey, now I'm slowly coming around to TF2 again.
As a start, I'm uploading this video now, but you can expect for a second video soon. In fact this is the first part of a video I was editing, which the Discord server and I decided to put in two roughly 10-minute videos instead of having one fat 20-minute video.
Expect for the next video within a week and enjoy this one too!

@@khatharsis8249 Nah, it used mipmaps to achieve that effect. Usually mipmaps are just lower quality versions of the same texture, used to help the game run better by using the lower quality textures at further distances (where you cannot really tell the difference), but here it used a custom image for the lower quality textures to "fade" between the two based on how close you got to it. Another spray that I've seen often that uses mipmaps is a spy that cloaks when you get too close/far from it. Fun stuff.
