I like the scout vs spy matchup, because playstyles are kind of similar in some regard. Vs a good spy you must always expect the stair stab, especially when one is running. I love just staying out of range of a spy's "wicked" trick stabs just enough for him to try, but not good enough to actually land them due to scout superior mobility. Corner and stair paranoia has saved me against spies so many times. Scout vs spy is more of a mental game than a skill game IMO. I do hate deadringer spies though, but it feels so good when you catch them decloaking at the ammo/med spawns due to your mobility. Then I see scouts stand still in these clips and I almost just flip my keyboard.

Mainly because every time I try to play as spy I'm the main enemy focus, the backs of players is 1/4 of what it should and everyone randomly looks backwards exactly when I'm behind them. @@trickstabbed Don't get me wrong he is a good player but a lot the clips he get's away with more than he should be for the simple reason of "cherry picking lucky clips" If you are a good spy you can survive and get picks consistently, but the enemy usually makes it harder and harder and after a while most of the time you have retreat after just one stab. Here the enemy team is made of clueless fools who and the few decent enemy players can't do shit cause he is fed overheal constantly by the fresh installs. I'm shure he can manage against better players aswell but the killstreak wouldn't be that high and that quick.

@@thespringbox While the calculation is technically done server side, it's done according to the server's understanding of what the client sees. If the enemy is looking at the player server side, it doesn't matter, since the server goes back in time to see what it looked like when the client sent the attack command. What really happened here was that the enemy turned on the spy's client's side, but the visual model didn't represent this yet. Model rotation is visually delayed at times due to the rotation playing a smoothed out animation instead of the raw mouse rotation. If you turn exactly 360 deg really fast, your model will for the first (about) 180 deg be turning one way, but then once you outturned your slowly turning model, your model will change the direction it turns in to try to reach your real view angle from the other side.
