Nice review. I have medium hands and find thicker sections far more comfortable! They allow the hand to be more open and relaxed.

I have Pelikan M1000, MB 149, Pilot Custom Urushi and I agree with Pelikan M1000. It is great writer.

It would've been better if it was close up. So we can see it up close in action. I was really excited when I saw your reply that you are doing this video.

Have you had your pilot long?has the urushi discolored?I'm thinking of getting the 845 in black or vermillion, but am afraid the colour will change.i guess I could always put the 845 nib in an 823 should it happen.

No discoloring on mine. I store it in a drawer when not using it.

As a fountain pen collector, I would place my 149 and M1000 on top of everything else. The craftsmanship and quality is superb. I believe Japanese pens really excel on the fine / Ef nibs . The European do better on the broader nibs but overall I would chose the European brands overall

Is Custom Urushi (B) finer or broader than the Montblanc 149 (M)?
@maximilianschwab9668 Жыл бұрын
He has an M nib at the Custom Urushi and it is definitely finer than the MB149(M). It is a well-known fact, that European nibs are always much broader than Japanese. Although I have a Sailot King of Pen Pro Gear with (M) nib and it is as broad as the European ones. I had to purchase a special converter from Australia to use the pen because the regular-size converter that comes with the Sailor pens ran out of ink after just a few hours of work.

@@maximilianschwab9668 I’m aware that European nibs are broader than the Japanese of the same size category. However, I was referring to his Pilot Custom Urushi-B in Vermilion which he previously posted an unboxing of and is sitting on the table in this particular video. He has since uploaded a writing sample of the PCU-B.

Bhai indian ho to normal tone me bat karo na! Why try to copy usa/canadian accent? And that too not even perfect😢
@jaiminsonu4 ай бұрын
@@souravray2415 sorry to disappoint you my friend but if u came for judging my accent here then you are commenting on wrong video . And I am not trying to fake / copy accent , this is how your accent becomes when you live in Canada / USA for more than 10 years . Our Indian accent mixes with American and it comes out like what I speak. And yes nobody is perfect so I am not an exclusion .

@@jaiminsonu No I was not here to judge your accent but could not resist myself from commenting. You have wonderful handwriting and I actually listened to your points carefully. Yet I couldn't resist what I felt was odd. You can ask any other person if I have wrongly accused you. I am saying it is fake because sometimes you were unconsciously speaking in a normal accent and when realised were going back to usa assent. It sounded very odd if someone listens carefully. My words might be harsh but they are true. Thank you.
