yeah, Cranesbill's lore joke was actually pretty funny for once, along with the other major victories the plants bring: - actually decent designs and animations - decent, unique and novel plant effects that aren't too useless or too powerful (barring Batter's plant food and meteors hitting both extremes at once WHYYYYY) - interesting synergies that promote making unique builds (I especially like Capaci-Cone being unable to charge up while facing a horde being somewhat circumvented by placing it around electric plants, and said plants getting charged up in return when Capaci-cone is at a certain level) - a Jester W this episode was actually a pretty decent showcase all around.

Let's be real though. Even Pike Hoya and Cranesbill Fencer are good (assuming bugs get fixed). Pike can be good for stalling ambush zombies like All Star and Surfer. Cranesbill as a plant could be fun to have as a concept. The overall list is top-notch.

Okay, Gorgon Pitcher is amazing. First, top tier design, they hit it out of the park. Secondly, a unique and fun gimmick. Yes, Medusa Zombies do the same thing, but this is more interesting because it’s a plant that can be both a help and detriment, along with giving Grave Buster an actual purpose besides Dark Ages and Ancient Egypt. Overall, Talkweb may have fumbled the bag with plants, but man, they made a straight up banger with Gorgon Pitcher.

I can see what they tried to do with burdock batter. A defensive/support plant that sort of gives piercing and stun, and can stop the more annoying zombies. Shame it’s not used, it’s a really good plant on paper.

10:20 they reflect towards the ground because the code just reverses the pea speed values and changes the plant damage variable to true, while jester makes a clone of the object and deletes the original one on touch

Man, those plants are so much more quality then international slop we got nowadays. Their art style is coherent, and their gimmicks are far more interesting, like the salad that baits attacks and cabbage turning zombie into statues, which combos with grave buster. Shame on you, international.

Gargon Pitcher is such a badass plant. It's really useful and unique. Also it has some cool features like getting poison effect from poisonous plants. As well as giving more usage to plants that really need it like grave buster. Good job Talkweb, this is how you need to design plants.

Seems the pike also has its spear discolored yellow when charged. I suppose it makes sense why it can't reflect those peas specifically, shadow peas are intangible, and maybe the electric ones too, and the goo would probably get stuck to them.

The reason the Batter is able to hit parasol zombies but not excavator zombies it's because the game probably still counts the projectile as a pea attack, which usually is a straight lane attack. Also, they only deflect/get damage respectively from attacks that start as lobbed

I think that the answer to many of the differences between Jester and the two other dudes reflecting projectiles can be explained with my theory In the code, the two dudes’ reflect work by actually reflecting projectiles back to the plant that shot them, independent of lane, but still following the same or similar trajectory the projectiles had (in simple words, the two dudes change the direction of the trajectory of the projectile, you can prove it with threepeater) While Jester does not deflect projectiles, but instead absorbs the projectiles, erasing their damage, and then sending them back their lane Evidence of my theory is that you might have noticed that the two dudes reflect projectiles INSTANTLY, while Jester takes a while to send them back
