Fun fact: Elephants' leg bones are set up in such a way that they can't jump. Their front legs are technically arms, since they have elbows and wrists instead of knees.

Source: Science Magazine Jan 2016 " the bones in elephant legs are all pointed downwards, which means they don't have the “spring” required to push off the ground."

I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the most holy dungeoncast! Here we are yet again. I remember writing a message similar to this one last year. It feels like just yesterday. The year has gone by so very fast. This hasn't been a very good year, not for the lands of knowledge and laughter with the attacks its gone through from various assorted evil foes, and an even worse year for the real world. Admittedly this paladin has little hope for the next year, I believe it will only be worse. I believe things will only get darker and darker before they brighten up again. However that does not mean we can not find joy in the good moments. As the world burns down around us and as the world crashes down upon us like a tidal wave, when it feels like an unstoppable force coming right at us, we must find lifeboats of happiness and laughter among the deluge of misery. So that being said I shall end this weeks message on a more joyus note, by giving a very similar message to the one I gave last year around this time. It was either the gold dragon episode, or the flumph episode, can't remember which. As the year of the giant comes to an end, it 8s easy to succumb to sadness. however this paladin of knowledge and laughter shall not let griefs cold stinging claws grasp his heart, for Instead of mourning the year of the giants passing, I shall be exceedingly glad it happened. From the bottom of my heart, to the lords of knowledge and laughter themselves, thank you. Thank you for another great years worth of episodes to provide us with weekly boons of knowledge. Thank you for the weekly fits of laughter we get from you, and most of all, thank you for the weekly distractions from life and how dreadful this year has been. I hope I can speak for all with these words. So with that being said, long may knowledge and laughter reign! Here's to another years worth of episodes my friends! To will and brian! Cheers to the dungeoncast! May you both, special guest Jake, and Josh Freeland all have a very happy and safe new year! Ok, I got that out of the way. I don't normally like having any 4th wall breaks, but it felt fitting for the direction that went. I did mean it all though, im sure were all grateful to you guys for the work you both put in just to give us some entertainment. And seriously, have a happy new year, and I hope you both had a merry christmas. I'll probably say this again to Jake and Josh in the comments of the next SQS whenever that is. A thought popped into my head during the froghemoth lightning bit. "Know what happens when a froghemoth gets struck by lightning? Same thing that happens to everything else." Might have messed up the quote, haven't seen that movie in a few years. Ok so what im getting from the bit about flail snails mating, is that I should go around sticking my "love dart" into everything that moves to see if its something that I can mate with. GENIUS! Thanks for the idea! Welp that is about it, see you guys next year. Dont have much else to say. Although I will say that I *REALLY* hope next year has episodes that involve gem dragons, and beholder kin. Wink wink nudge nudge hint hint. lol.

About the Flail Snail, it is one, if not my favorite monster in D&D and it is so since i've watched a video that I highly recommend from MrRhexx about it. I know it's unpolite to suggest a video of another creator on someone else's channel, but I can't stress enough how good that video is.

Make a cage or something with the flailsnail slime glass and they can't eat thru it you would just need to bring it the rocks to eat Edit: alot of animals won't bread in captivaty so its possible they would just die out.

Brian was right, there are people who farm flail snails. It is very difficult and requires specializations so they aren't common. You also have to farm them in places like caves and it is hard to find a safe cave large enough to farm them.
@loganfalvo73494 жыл бұрын
That's why they specify they can't eat their slime glass! You make the pens/corrals out of the glass so they can't eat their way out!!!
@brianroberts7834 жыл бұрын
I would assume they'd eventually eat under, unless you want to keep them in glass ice rink and haul minerals to them.
@loganfalvo73494 жыл бұрын
Exactly the idea. It all adds up they were intended to be farmed from all the extra details given. After having several around you would definitely have enough material to build proper housing for them.
