Hey man just a lil tip. When your throwing a small cast net like the one you were throwing grab the top of the yolk and then put one weight in the hand with the yolk and with the other hand reach down and grab another weight and pull it to the side and then throw it and it should be a perfect pancake I’m from NC and I use cast nets all the time to catch bait

On top of my previous comment, addendum, for every single vehicle that has a winch, You NEED a snatch block pulley and @ least 3 (4-5 would be better) 24+inch stakes (the kind used for concrete forms) and then when in a situation where there aren't any good anchor points, you can make your own! Also, small-ish 'D' handled shovels in previously said vehicles, thus one can dig an angled trench, stuff a log in said trench, and secure your winch-line to said log and thus create an earth anchor.! And yes it does work....I have been there and done that! Litterally!

Next time when you cook it, you sear the outside of the fish which like you did to form the crust hence blackend, then finish it off inside the oven for 2 to 3 mins like 350 to 375 degrees, comes out mint!
