Yep. Sadly, many P-51s, (now named F-51s) were lost by AA cooling system punctures in this manner during the Korean War.

When The British attacked trains they did it very low and fron the he front and did one pass so as to minimize flak damage

That's not how I would have done that mission. First I line up with the train and the tracks. Next I would select rockets, preferably set to 2 at a time and I would come in a bit higher. After firing the rockets, select bombs. First fire rockets and quickly release bombs. The goal is to make just one pass. The rockets first to take out as much AAA as possible. It's always the second or 3rd pass that you take hits.

Probably trying to fly it and do maneuvers with full fuel if that's the case. NEVER dogfight with fuel in the fuselage tank. It's okay to take fuel in it, but use it to climb high and fly to your patrol area. Burn off the fuel in the fuselage tank before engaging the enemy, then the P-51 becomes more nimble and the spin problems go away. Fuel in the fuselage tank throws off the center of gravity and makes the Mustang unstable. 69% (heh) is the level of fuel where the fuselage tank is empty in wing tanks are full. Try it out in QMB, even lower the fuel level a bit further and see just how well the P-51 flies. No plane in the game performs at their peak with a full fuel load, but also, many aren't as unstable and squirrelly as the Mustang is.

When you make these videos are the ground weapons like flack etc done by AI or are there people controlling it as well? Like with grim reapers they have had battles where ships are all controlled by people ,so i was curious

Several guys covering songs with their bass guitar etc for one reason or another film themselves without visible head. I guess they don't want to look pretentious, I don't know, but it's rather odd. To the same extend, seeing planes with invisible pilots is also somewhat odd. And that grass in which the Mustangs took off are in desperate need of some sheep, goats and cows to bring it back to more credible proportions. Otherwise, looks very nice...

@@comesahorseman Ideally, you hit the train ALONG the line of the track. That way, the AAA are shooting over each other's head, and when one car is derailed, all those following are wrecked. In reality, the Transportation Campaign, on the German rail system, was focused on bridges, and steam engines, because these were the hardest to replace.
