Damn bro that’s the sickest crate hack I’ve ever seen! Awesome thank you for sharing

Nice work. I just received mine and have incorporated several of your mods. Love the ideas of the shelf liner and the paracord to keep the top from flopping over. I have a pedal drive with a rudder so I had to install rubber feet on the bottom to keep it off the rudder guide. Also added a couple of zip ties to the front and hooked a couple of canvas tool pouches from Home Depot to hold pliers, fish grips etc. I also sometimes use cut bait so I put a Dollar Tree cutting board in the bungees on the underside of the top lid that I can use on the top of the crate when needed.

Sweet! With the crate forward facing those bags would be perfect. I almost ordered some, but I still had room inside. That cutting board idea is great too! Gonna have to borrow that idea methinks. Thank you!! Great comment!

I had a bad first impression with this video because you started out with things I thought were trivial or nitpicky but it’s actually a really good and well thought out presentation and setup. If you’re that detailed with everything I think you’ll take off

Thank you for sharing! Great ideas. How do you like the Titan and the Titan boxes?
@night17hawk10 ай бұрын
Got rid of it. It was the diesel motor titan. Spent WAY too much time in the shop. The boxes were a good idea, but poorly made. I ended up taking those out shortly after this video. I'm glad I had it, I will now know not to bother with that style storage.
@fishingismydrug110 ай бұрын
@@night17hawk Yes, that diesel was an issue! I have a gas Titan, love it. Thinking about those style boxes. Made some bed drawers for it. Took them out. Great concept, definitely see a use for them, just not for me. Thank you very much for the reply!

Some great stuff here, thx for sharing. Would you mind letting me know what type of wood you made the dividers with?
@night17hawk4 жыл бұрын
I used 1/4" leuon. It's basically a very thin form of plywood. (pronounced loo-on) It is not a specific species of wood. Available at most stores that sell plywood.
@nategreenaway76084 жыл бұрын
@@night17hawk great. Thx for the clarification, and you sprayed the wood with what type of spray paint?

@@nategreenaway7608 I used Rust-Oleum exterior paint there is a wide variety of color options.

What size boxes are those
@night17hawk4 жыл бұрын
They are the 3600 size
@aaron52114 жыл бұрын
How many could you for that way you think
@night17hawk4 жыл бұрын
You could easily fit six with room for another seventh slot with 1/4 inch dividers. Would that seventh slot fit another box? That would depend on the material you use to divide them, and how tight you can arrange them inside. These boxes don't sit high in the box, so there would also be room for another larger 3700 box on top of them. So theoretically? Up to eight. But functionally I would say six, and a seventh slot for tall or leashed stuff.
