Flame Licker - V-twin Thumper

V-twin Flame Licker of my own design, based off of the Philip Duclos engine. 90deg. V with separate cams for each cylinder, run off of one crankshaft. Enjoy!

some late info. good work. however, there is too much popping. it suggests to me that efficiency is reduced; because, too much back-pressure/compression is occurring, at that point in the cycle. the use of (long-duration) cam lobes is NOT recommended. why.? a cam and follower absorbs Energy. more duration, equals MORE Energy Lost.! the excessive popping may be a symptom, of this excessive duration. it should be understood that the power comes from atmospheric pressure pushing at the 'bottom' of the piston; after a reduced-pressure condition has been induced inside the cylinder. (similar to a heat engine) components should be, just, robust enough to be functional and durable. googletranslate
