I really enjoy watching your experimental designs. There are no failures if you learn, because each step is valuable.

Hello. thank you for positive comments. That gives me a lot of motivation. This time I had a series of failures, such as the flame not forming a perfect tornado, and the variable adjustment of the flame not being possible. As you say, I learned from my mistakes. Next time, I will provide more videos for you to enjoy.😀

I did a live video testing different designs yesterday... Very dangerous lol!
Great work! You are doing an amazing job with the fire tornado, I am now looking at buying a stove so I can make one and share what I find through my own build

Hello. Thanks for your comment, and it motivates me a lot. This secondary combustion stove is fun. And since it's cheap, you can modify it without fear of failure. I am looking forward to your shared information.😀

Watched your video carefully several times to utilize your expertise in my homemade dual combustion burner. I really enjoyed your meticulous and precise work. By following your method of construction I can hope to get such a beautiful result too. At the same time, I would like to clarify the possibility of one change in the design. I am concerned about the possibility that the hot ash will eventually crumble from the bottom of the stove through the air holes in the bottom. I can see the stove standing on a grate over sand, or over something else low flammable or completely non-combustible base. Since I can't count on that in my case, I want to provide a pull-out tray in my design to collect and remove the ash after everything has cooled down. Can anyone tell me what distance from the hole in the bottom to the tray should be provided so as not to block the air supply from below and not to disturb the beauty of the swirling flame? I was looking for a formula for calculating the volume of air inflow from the volume, burning time and type of fuel, but there are many other factors, such as thermal radiation from different parts of the stove, so if by experience or measurement you could tell me at what distance from the combustible surface is better to keep the bottom of such a stove, I would be very grateful. Thanks again for making this video and good luck with your projects.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your very serious comment. Air is taken in from the bottom of the stove, which then becomes a natural convection current and an updraft, and is released from the secondary combustion hole. You won't know what the optimal height is without experimenting. Looking at photos of products from various manufacturers, the ratio seems to be twice the height of the stove's diameter. I think the higher the height, the higher the pressure that is sucked up by the chimney effect (the pressure blowing out of the secondary combustion hole). Please forgive me for not giving a clear answer.

Tornado is great!

Thanks for your comment. This time it took me a long time to make the tornado ring. Alternatively, the secondary combustion hole can be bent with a tool and easily tornadoed.😀

Thank you for all your comments. So you have an RV house. I don't see them much here in Japan, but I see them in movies. A house on wheels is nice. Alcohol and other flammable fuels indoors are definitely a little dangerous. Having said that, I also burn alcohol stove flames indoors when making videos. Once or twice, alcohol leaked and it caught fire, which was dangerous. Please be careful.😀🔥

@camp2476 yes it is dangerous, I accidentally had one go hand cannon the beer can LoL, see video... I am definitely most dangerous guy trying different designs in RV! Was $2000 only & runs but beat up to hell & in middle of desert nice place 20 mi town & 1mi closest neighbor! Still I am safe so far & last night was sad design but cute nice candle etc...

I'm really enjoying the video!!😃😃 Could you experiment with installing an exhaust cone in the center of the stove like the cone shape of the exhaust nozzle of the jet engine? I think the flame will be more stable because it will help to make laminar flow around the cone.
@camp247611 ай бұрын
Hello. Very interesting advice, thank you. Receiving advice like this from everyone is what motivates me to make videos. Previously, I made a blade to stabilize a tornado. It was very stable. I will definitely try this cone as well. 😄kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJvTeKSdh5eqhKs

😄kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3i9ZYmXgZyagtk

Thanks but I could not see the Second combustion. This is just first combustion because the burning is only on the top of pellets.
@camp24769 ай бұрын
What kind of structure of stove are you using? Naturally, secondary combustion will not occur in stoves that do not have a secondary combustion structure.

Tira combustión en la habitación? Hay mal olor?
@camp24764 ай бұрын
