i learned to use vinyl to give the eyes life. it's a bit painstaking but the it makes a difference, and they can be removed easily

What a handsome boi! Absolutely STUNNING design language. A really nice modernization of the classic G1 style. Reminiscent of the TT Hongli version. He is a tiny bit too small for my tastes, but still dope! Flame Toys NEVER MISSES💪🏿❤️💯💥

What it looks like it's the ultimate Starscream so whoever your favorite Starscream is you can make that STARSCREAM. My gripe is can you order more bass bodies so that you can put the extra pieces to have them all displayed

Yeah, if they made the Cybertron/Galaxy Force weapon set as an option extra and it dropped the price by $100, that would have been so much better.

I have it preordered, because it's starscream and because I collect the line, but I have to agree, it's too much. All the extra armour bits should have been a add on set, or something, maybe along with the coronation set. The basic mode looks awesome all by itself, especially after their jazz release, which was the most barebones release in the whole line so far.

Starscream is such an iconic 'handsome' robot that always reminded me of the fallen angels, where vanity and self importance corrupted them. This is beautifully painted and finished but an ugly design, and with that short stubby cockpit, reminds me of a generic Gundam-inspired robot you might find in a KO gachapon machine wearing an orange kipper tie. I imagine it started in CAD by importing a stock mecha robot design. But I'll give them points for having the decepticon logos correctly upside down in robot mode, that is something I see done incorrectly in some non-transformable figures and statues and Flame Toys did it right.

I don't think the intent was to have everything on it at one time. They definitely hit three different starscream designs here. It is a bit unfortunate that you'd have to bin alot of these accessories but that does seem to be par for the course with a lot of these offerings from them. That coronation look is nice. Thanks for the review.

Excellent review. I checked out from Flame Toys a while back mostly on the account of weak sauce hardware utilized associated with cost of ownership. They should be using lag bolts.

comment below if you'd rather have bits and bobs that pop off and can be put back on or bits that just break and you have to repair or replace parts. any thoughts on transformers that don't transform?

I know these figures are good but I can't "simp" for this company because of the prices they charge. HeatBoys has the same quality (sculpt, paint, materials, hardware and most times better engineering), the same amount of accessories (if not more but even then better incorporated) and gimmicks, but charges $169!!! If I buy one of these I will be saying I accept these prices and I don't, the license isn't enough to justify three times as much. It happens the same with the other companies associated with this one, 1000Toys and Sentinel, some of the figures are very good but the prices are way to high, specially when compared to other companies releasing the same quality items. In my opinion Flame Toys, Sentinel and 1000Toys are like the Balenciaga of the action figure world, other companies do better for a way better price but they want you to pay more just for the brand. Gorgeous figure. Dead eyes at this price point is bad comedy. While I kind of like the accessories allowing it to be different iterations of him, that seems like the rodimus where it's to justify a price. A deluxe accessory pack would have been the way, and recoup on the repaint savings they will make.

$620 Canadian. Guess I’m out. Looks incredible though. I like the Armada shoulder pads and Original mp style leg covers. You get a lot of looks, for a lot of money.

$430 but, the coronation set is a preorder bonus so, if you were to buy him now, it's not going to be included. Which then makes this toy even more expensive as you're paying the same price but, no coronation set. If you want that, you're going to have to pay scalpers. I've yet to buy one of their figures because of the price. If it was $200 or so, I might think about it. As is, I'll stick to my cheap ThreeZero figures with less accessories but, 25% - 30% of the price.

I have the Optimus and Megatron and their paint and articulation is top notch. However, I've had so much more fun with the Furai Model Kits they put out. You get the a better understanding on how these guys are put together and the engineering under the hood. In addition, with the color molding, no need to paint unless you want to go that extra mile, which is a lot of cases produce even better paint apps over the higher priced full on figures like this Starscream. Basically the same style but with the joy of model making :) Highly recommend.
