Love all of your reviews and content! I'm vegan and definitely agree about Flame Tree Barbecue--the burnt ends are NOT it. I do trust that the other food here is delicious.

We have eaten there before and will be noshing at FlameTree today. We like that place and sit down near the water. Since we have Narcoosies tonight we will only get the onion rings and maybe a BBQ mac and cheese to share. But as you said, for what it is it's pretty good. Congrats on 17k !

The flame tree is a family fav for us but overall the food has gone down but not as bad as others and we love the sitting areas a real hidden gem for us

I used to love the Mac n cheese at FTB. I agree with you though that the size decreased and it’s just not as good without the onion ring on top. I was disappointed my last tine there.

When our son was little this was our go-to in AK. It wasn't anything over the top, but reliable and plenty of seating. Once Satu'li opened and we discovered Nomad Lounge that all changed. Sorry Flame Tree! It's still a solid option though, especially if you have picky eaters.

Bummer guys, we went to Flame Tree yesterday to get the onion rings and they are no longer on the menu. Thats why you didn't get one on your mac and pork lunch.

Yay! A new video! Been going deeper into your back catalogue. I love your whole vibe! ❤ I want the chicken here. Wood-smoked meat is delicious. Love that there’s a view of the mountain. No surprise on the impossible burnt ends! GMO ingredients, seed oils, etc. Might be going off the menu soon, though since I think FL recently banned it. Flametree Stan here. I think you did them dirty. You can easily share the chicken, ribs and combo and the prices are very reasonable, making it very affordable for a family. You have a teenage boy who couldn’t finish his chicken while saying it’s moist and good????? Proves thats a meal for two easy. You got plenty of pulled pork on the Mac& cheese but complained about not enough Mac& cheese. Could have been a one off. Why would they skimp on Mac and cheese at a cost of pennies for macaroni compared to the pork? Also, the food and vibe is totally different at Satuli so that is an unfair comparison. I think you need to give them another chance.
