I wonder how long they will "burn" for before the batteries go out each setting.

Can you control individual candles (ie have each one at a different setting)?

What I found is that you can set each one individually if you take one candle away from the others and set it. You can adjust the hours, solid light or candle effect and light level. You would have to do that for each one. I then put them back next to each other and you can collectively turn them on and off and they remember the last settings you set when you adjusted them away from each other. The remote does not control each one individually but because they have memory you can program each one differently when you set each one away from the others first if that makes sense.
