Interesting, gave up on real candles after having to repaint the house ceilings because of the candles smoke damage from YC jar candles! We one one ceiling maybe 2 to go! I like the idea of timer z& remote for when I stage our house when it’s on the market! Would look awesome on the jacuzzi tub tray whenever I get to make it… Another well done video & always prepared with awesome information! 🎉 👏🏻

Thank you for watching and commenting! This was my second product review/recommendation and anything I recommend I've used for some time. We're almost two years in and I still absolutely love these candles, I use them all over my home. In sets, styled as in the video, grouped on pedestals, singularly on shelves. I use them as night lights too. No dislikes. The various timer selections make these candles the most versatile in my opinion. Did I mention I absolutely love these candles?! Thank you again!

Thank you... One question what is the battery life? The main reason I buy luminara is the battery life is 600 to 1000 hours per candle.

The Aku Tonpa candles use 2 AA batteries, versus the 2 C batteries used in the Luminara candles. So you will see a difference. I have never compared the difference so I'm sorry I can't give a definitive answer. I find the affordability of these over Luminara makes up for a lesser battery life. Thank you for watching! Hi Robert, When I made this video, two years ago, I did not see that feature available. I also haven't purchased any recently due to not having to replace the over 25 candles still working perfectly. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I know this video is two years old, as of today, but it’s funny how dated all your information is. Yes, Luminara is still highly expensive, but the flickering candle style of Luminara is available everywhere, and everyone has controllers. And for truly REAL looking flames, try the candles made by SoftFlame or CozierGlow. Astounding in comparison, they’re still cheaper than Luminara!

I agree that technological features become available over time, but the entire focal point of the video was suggesting a budget friendly alternative. That point is even more relevant today. Based on the candle sizes and prices of the brands you mentioned, Aku Tonpa and a few others still offer that today, even over Soft Flame and Cozier Glow.
