About the artist: 'Mario Escudero was born in Alicante, Spain on October 11, 1928. After completing his obligatory military service in Spain in the early 1950s, he migrated to the United States. He recorded over 30 albums (solo and duets) for various labels and performed with well-known flamenco artists, such as his close friend and collaborator, Sabicas. Escudero is considered one of the musicians responsible for spreading/creating public interest in flamenco music in the United States'.
About the album: "This LP presents a number of varieties of flamenco dances, most of whice are found in the Andalusian region of (southern) Spain. Liner notes include a history of flamenco music as well as a detailed description of flamenco's ties to its namesake, the flamingo". *Recorder - Moses Asch, Cover artwork - W. Johnson.

Track no. 6 seems edited/"cut" half a second-one second before the end of the playing. This is how the track appears on the original LP (and remastered version). I was not able to find a longer/more complete version.
