Pretty much a 10/10 adaptation of friend, lived up to the hype. Even the small extensions like the ruthless sack of bazz's castle and the original SS and their fighting styles were awesome to see. I kinda wished to see a sklaverei volstandig from bazz b before his death, even tho he got auswahlen'd already. An interesting note is the northern lights you can see before yhwach levels the castle with his sankt bogen, which basically confirms that his realm was likely in northern germany or maybe even scandinavia. Also all hail horse sama!

Burner Full Finger - BFF? Gyat Damn Kubo! I almost jumped when I heard that. This is why I enjoy your videos so much, they make me appreciate Bleach even more knowing how deep and layered it is. What excites me about this episode is the fact that it contains the whole Bazz-B vs Jugram fight. I thought they would pad it out to be 2 episodes. The "friend" with the "end" in red? Beautiful. Chef kiss. Absolute Cinema. Which leads me to question what the finale is going to be? (mild spoilers ahead for anime onlys) . . . . . It would be fitting to be Uryu vs Jugram, as Uryu and Ichigo also parallel Bazz-B/Jugram, it would be perfect to show Uryu's choice, wrapping up his arc for this cour. Also shows Jugram's reaction to that choice. Ultimately, Uryu chose his friend, unlike Jugram, and it shook him. Can't wait for next week!

The next episode's title makes it seem that Uryu will reveal his scheme but since it's a double episode they'll probably set up all the big fights, Uryu vs Jugo, Askin vs Yoruichi and Gerard vs EVERYONE

I love this episode and chapters in the manga. My personal take on it is that Bazz-B actually isn't the good guy here. He strung Jugram along on his quest for revenge, but didn't really believe in him, at least after a while. The moment Yhwach chose Jugram over him he was filled with envy because he believed himself superior all this time. Even though Jugram argued that Yhwach should pick Bazz-B over himself, which was really unselfish. But once he saw the look in Bazz-Bs eyes he noticed that selfishness. Not to mention Jugram didn't hate Yhwach as much as Bazz-B. His home was destroyed by Yhwach, but Jugram's abusive uncle died due to Yhwach. That probably brought him relief. Yhwach also patted his head in that one scene. Which might be the first time Jugram ever experienced parental affection in his life. That's why his devotion to Yhwach is so strong.
@carlosesturain38313 күн бұрын
I don’t think all of Bazz’s friendship was false, though Jugo didn’t really have the same desire for revenge. He honestly did help Jugo for a good while as a companion and was earnest in helping him improve/looking out for him. His world was thrown asunder getting overlooked, but I still think Jugram’s transgression was much greater. The instant validation and importance by Ywach was enough for Jugo to instantly end that friendship. No bueno for a person to do that.
@HitmanSkip3 күн бұрын
Bazz never forced Jugram to come with him, he said he could go back to his uncle if he wanted and Jugram replied he’s dead. Which implies Bazz had no problem going on this mission alone. Bazz did offer Jugram protection and tried motivate him tho. Yes it might have seen like Bazz got jealous but Bazz got angry because if only Jugram was picked, Bazz can’t continue his revenge for his people and didn’t believe Jugram was gonna do it alone. Neither is the good guy, Jugram not repaying back is what it seemed like before Yhwach started explaining that Bazz only got stronger because of Jugo but Bazz thought he got stronger by himself and not being a crutch which hurt his pride

Their fight wasn’t about strength, it was to challenge him at least once. Bazz-B deemed Jugram to be a issue when Yhwach explained that he himself made Bazz develop considerable skills. Haschwalth doesn’t owe Bazz anything. Yhwach would have come to fetch his other half either way.

While it’s ironic that Juha’s killing of their homes disproportionately affected Bazz and Jugo’s lives, and Bazz’s young friendship with Jugo was imperfect, I’d agree with someone else mentioning that Jugo’s sudden change of heart very much indicates a person that’ll sacrifice friendship for a sense of importance and power. Those things are understandably a desire for Jugo, considering his terrible upbringing by his uncle and lack of talent to that point. Still a fucked up thing to do, which he realizes in the end.
@HitmanSkip3 күн бұрын
@@Grayson-Winchester Bazz did support Jugo, he couldn’t support the way Yhwach did but he did still support Jugram. None of them used each other, Bazz thought Jugram was on the revenge, he didn’t just bring him for his own sake, he even said that he could go back if he wasn’t on and Jugram just followed Bazz which any person would think that he was on it.

I agree that Bazz-B was jealous Jugo, but the greater pain came from discovering that Jugo's will wasn't the same as his although they both lost their families. He felt betrayed not because Jugo was better than him but because he didn't realize that Jugo felt the opposite of him regarding joining Yhwach. Bazz-B was devastated from the loss of his loving mother whereas Jugo was saved by the lost of his abusive uncle. They both had a debt to repay to Yhwach; Bazz-B's was to kill him, Jugo's was to join him. And yet, when Bazz-B mentioned killing Yhwach, Jugo didn't express his opposition to it, resulting in Bazz-B believing that their intentions were aligned. That's why he felt betrayed. Also, technically Bazz-B was still a genius because he was able to manifest his Quincy powers even before encountering Jugo (unless Jugo somehow shared his powers with Bazz without them knowing or being in proximity to each other), which adds to the pain of not being chosen. Not only was he discredited for the time he spent with Jugo, but the time when he when Jugo wasn't even in the picture. Pretty tragic

When hubert says they'll notify them later. Notice how jugram says, see we should go Home now. Jugram never wanted to leave bazz b. Jugram obviously enjoyed their time together in the woods, jugram was complacent and content. But bazz b own greed for vengeance against yhwach made it so bazz never saw this. And when bazz b looks at jugram with jealousy as yhwach names him the chosen one. Bazz is shocked and even worse yhwach tells him the whole time jugram was boosting bazz's own talent and skill. I think jugram knew he was supporting bazz b with his Quincy enhancing ability before yhwach told them. But he never wanted to tell bazz this. And once he sees the anger in bazz's eyes, jugram chooses yhwach since yhwach told him the thing he needed to hear. Yhwach needs him and he will have a greater purpose now. Bazz tries to attack yhwach, but jugram stops it. Cuz jugram protects yhwach now, but jugram also protects bazz b in this moment as well. We see through years bazz b tries to break the rules of sternritter, but jugram never takes the challenge, cuz he knows bazz b will die or be severely punished by the rules. Jugram was still always protecting bazz b. Even from hubert, Some people think when yhwach did the aushwalen in the royal palace jugram used the balance to protect bazz b from dieing. But bazz cant let it go. Jugram tells him to stop multiple times cuz he doesn't want him to get hurt. But bazz takes it to far and jugram has to put bazz b down. Jugram couldn't protect bazz b anymore. Tragic story. I Wonder how it couldve been if bazz b wasn't blinded by revenge and went back into the woods with jugram that day.

Something i noticed is that bazz b being the son of the lord of the village was kinda like royalty which explains why he told jugram about being his underling since he is in an already position of power, offering him being an underling was most likely his only way of offering his frindship since having people serve him was all he knew

Jugo is used/abused by his uncle, later Yhwach makes him think that he was being used by Bazz, so YW makes he feel special, unique, better than Bazz. And that itself makes him believe that friendship is something related to being able to get stronger with your friend, or being close to those who can empower you somehow. However for Bazz-B it was not that. Even though he used to feel superior he always included Jugo in his plans. But in the end, Jugo will realize he was never YW half in terms of power and choice, decision, he was being used again. Tô only thing Yhwach cares for him is his power, that's the only thing Yhwach cares for anyone. And he always things that everything on the world belong to him. He will see anyone as his equal. Spoiler: That's what Jugo will realize when he fights Uryu. He never understood friendship because, he made a bad choice, he was being used and Yhwach was the one that put him in that path.

Haschwaldt is a *pleaser* . He is so used to being a beta, that he is willing to turn Bazz B over to Yhwach as the sacrificial lamb. He has been abused so ruthlessly by his uncle that, although the delight of being a chosen one is momentarily intense--looking back at Bazz (who is his past memory), he suddenly got scared. Bazz has a bone to pick with Yhwach, so why not? Although Bazz B seems to be the more empathetic character, it is Haschwaldt who has been through hell with his conflicting feelings regarding the situation. Which makes him the more interesting party, to me. This has to be the most intense relationship in Bleach, besides Orihime and Ulquiorra!

It looks like he doesn’t care about him much in present time as he’s just letting bazz b talk to the wall and kills him without answering any of his emotional questions.
