Just found this video. Didn't realize you did FoW. Haven't played it in 10 years or so and now I want to get back to it. Hope to see you do more, soon!!!

My son loves it. We started playing World of Tanks first then grabbed the FoW starter set and a few smaller sets to go with it. I'm working on a new book that is similar to Weekend Warriors but for large scale games like AoS and 40k, and I think those rules will be great for these models too.

That starter set looks really really good, I'm looking forward to see that video where it's assembled and ready for battle ... many thanks for showing and please keep up the good work ;-)

I don't play Flames of War, but I do have the Complete Starter Set for Team Yankee, which is a very similar game also from Battlefront! It was also a fantastic value, their starter sets are great ways to get into game systems pretty inexpensively!

Nice! I’ve seen the Team Yankee game and that looks really good too. Thanks for watching! 👊

Gosh Lee, something else to collect. I’m struggling to keep up. Great video. Are you going to do some painting videos?
@tabletopskirmishgames3 жыл бұрын
🤣 Yes lots going on! My boy was really interested in this so we had to give it a go. Looks like an awesome game. I’ve nearly built it all then I’ll do some painting videos later for sure. We’ll probably play a few games first though to see what it’s like. Thanks for watching! 👊

Had 2 boxes split with a friend, very nice box for US and Germans. 2 of them makes around 100 points if I remember correctly.

That’s a great idea. Such an awesome box set, one of my favourite unboxings so far! Thanks for watching! 👊

No follow up on this one?

Not yet. My boy and I mostly play the models with our own rules. I might revisit it with the proper rules but nothing panned as yet.

Did you go no further with this game Lee?

We play with the models but not the rules now. It’s difficult to keep many rulesets going so stick to Weekend Warriors at home and then the popular games at my local club

Hello, Could u paint the AMericans as british or are the infantry significantly different?
@tabletopskirmishgames2 жыл бұрын
I think you could, they are pretty small.

Interesting! Are there 28/32mm scale systems out there in that 2nd WW setting or are the historic all smaller than Warhammer?
@tabletopskirmishgames3 жыл бұрын
Bolt Action is 28mm but I haven’t played it. Watched some battle reports and it looks good, though. I quite like the smaller scale especially for the tanks and terrain.

I was wondering if anyone did a battle report where they took a flames of war army vs a team yankee army Also good video
