I like that you repeat your rows at a comfortable pace. Not too fast or too slow, and that you explain what you're doing along the way. Seeing the work at full speed is also helpful, and you are NEVER tedious! You don't fill up your videos with pointless details and chatter, which means I am always paying attention.

I like the look of the design on the front when you work it into the tunisian crochet, instead of cross stitching it on later. Although the back looks much neater if the cross stitching is done afterwards. I would really love to see a panel when completed, what it looks like with all the colors done and see how the back looks when it is worked right into the crocheting. Thanks for showing this.

Just learned as many stitches as I could and did many downloads of patterns. Ones I love were very similar to yours. It was going to be my first big project - LOL! I wanted and thought I found a pet friendly yard and tried to do the cross stitch included in the Tss and honestly did not do a bad job at it but tried to switch to normal yarn from the bulk yard I was using for my panels. That was my downfall. I thank you so very much for doing this video, showing both techniques. I am sure if I go to an actual Yarn Store I can find out what a bobble is. Your time and patience is so very much appreciated.

I can't thank you enough for this video. I have a project that I've wanted to do for a few years but did not want to put in all that work and have it look bad on the back. This answered so many questions. I am about 95% finished with my project now thanks to you. I wish you had a place to upload pictures I would love for you to see it when it's finished. I'm very happy with the results and my next project (in the planning stage) will be better. Again, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

I never crossed stitch but what a unique creative way to combine the two styles. The pattern is simple gorgeous. I was taught the entrelac stitch 40 years ago (wow showing my age......lol) and recently I combined regular crocheting with the Tunisian crochet. Along with learning how to knit. I want to say thank you so very much for your creativity and sharing your talent. You give me the inspiration to keep creating when at times of frustration that extra encouragement makes me continue to keep my dream of creating and learning to achieve my style and goals.

Wow, this is great, thank you! It would be nice though, if you could make a video on how to do the border. I just ordered the pattern, and already downloaded it. I can't wait to get started. It's really gorgeous. But first I'll have to find yarn that's available in my country and that makes a nice alternative to the Red Heart yarn. And I'll have to translate some of the measurements into their local alternatives as well. Lots to do, so I'm off... Please keep the videos and patterns coming! :-)

Wow!!! I loved this tutorial!!! You made Tunisian crochet look so easy I was always afraid of it!! And I love how you can crochet a pattern into it... I do have one question though: If you choose to cross stitch it rather then crochet the pattern in, it seems like if you wash that Afghan the cross stitching would come out... because the cross stitching wasn't knotted in, in any way or weaved in and out like you do when changing colors and regular crochet? So I guess my question is if you cross stitch it, Can you then wash the Afghan in the washing machine or it does it have to be hand washed? And Thank you for this and all your tutorials!!! I just love them!!

Thank you so very much for this amazing video! I have just started crocheting and watching your videos makes me feel like I can do any pattern easily, and if I do get stuck, my new friend is just a click away to help me figure it out!!!! PS I would rather have a longer video than you just race your way through leaving me totally confused. 💕

Beautiful afghan! You do amazing work! I'm currently working on your Morning Glory pattern. I'm confused about how to do the border trebles. I've magnified photos of both afghans and think the border for this one is similar. The trebles appear to be worked deep into the rows, but I'm not sure how to bring them up to the current level. I really want to see a video about that technique for either of these patterns. Thank you!

I do appreciate all of you crochet patterns and tutorials you put on for all the worldd to see. If I didn't have a wardrobe to replace I would be investing in all types of crochet threads ( I have the many hooks in the black pack) and I had forgotten all I had learned over the years. I really want to do that style of crochet, I don't think my mother and grandmother had heard of Tunisian crochet. I bought a hook for doing the style, just trying to relearn sewing and need clothes. (Lost my lifes collection in a flood) Fyi I lost my mom because of chemotherapy, the cancer never had a chance to kill her ,, she couldn't tolerate the drugs. I miss her and my G-Ma. Both beautiful strong woman.

When you are changing colours as you go, what is the best way to tie off a colour when you finish with it? For example the green leaf, when it is done, how do you secure the green? Do you knot it or just weave in an end?

I see a mistake! Third panel over from left there are leaves that are not complete!
