hey i don’t know if someone has said this already BUT antigone is part of Sophocles’s plays, and it follows the story of Antigone, Oedipus’s daughter, after all the stuff went down with hus dad (in oedipus rex, oedipus kills his dad and marries his mom, but he didnt know and blah blah greek tragedy stuff) it’s basically like a super important play from ancient Greece and it’s actually very very good and amazing anyways i loved the video thank you for the recs!!! ^__^ sorry if this explanation was confusing

Little known horror author who is my favorite author of all time, Amy Lukavics. She only has four stand alone novels out but OMG each one is unique and so creepy and unexpected. My favorite is Daughters Unto Devils. It takes place in the 1800's out on the prairie and omg it is one of the creepiest books I have ever read. It took me less than a day to read this book. I just couldn't put it down and read for like four hours nonstop. Highly HIGHLY recommend this author! Very good writing and characters and plot and she's just so talented but no one ever talks about her. She has another book set in the 1950's about a rebellious girl who was put in a mental institution because she didn't want to conform to societys standards. It is also horror and it is amazing. Just look her up!

For the Mice one I recommend The Redwall series. All of the characters are animals, with most of the main characters being nice and the world building is fantastic. I haven't read it but "Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of Nimh" is a book on my tbr list and I adore the movie!
