I actually spent about 20 minutes playing WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING and still made lots of progress. like I was at level 1 when I started and 15 mins later I was at 44, all you have to do is actually be willing to do the simulator. it could be just me but I don't think this is a pay to win Sim game ;]

also it is very hard to make a simulator game without lootboxes because the things you get from lootboxes give you multipliers and those multipliers speed up your gameplay and wtihout them the game would go very slowly so if anything the lootboxes actually help you in a way

Honestly, I was able to rebirth twice in Sonic Speed Simulator in one day without spending anything so I wouldn't say it is pay to win. It kind of requires patience, just like Bee Swarm Simulator. And the pets actually make sense with the game as chao's are considered pets or like animals I'm the Sonic universe. Even one of the main characters Cream the Rabbit has a chao as a pet.

I played the game for 30 minutes and I was at a high level by then. I don't know why everyone saying this game is "pay to win". You just have to play the game. I just think that simulators have a bad reputation so everyone thinks it's pay to win. Everything that you can buy with Robux is optional. It's not like you have to pay Robux to get to the new worlds. But I will say the fan games are better. The Sonic model in the official sonic game looks like a Nintendo DS model. The simulator genre is not what I think when I think about Sonic. I think about a platformer. They should have not gone on the simulator path. But it's a good game to me at the end of the day.

I'm a free to play player and I'll just say From pure experience It doesn't seem pay to win, it's been 2 days, only few hours of gameplay and I already got 8 rebirths. Mostly it's not really pay to win, sure it has those gamepasses and boosts but I don't think it is pay to win, it's just a normal endless simulator but this one seems easy to just get more than 5 rebirths in one day.

All in all, if I may say, I believe that out of all the simulator games I have played in my time. I have leveled up extremely fast using the gifts and rewards and the occasional free spin. I have a lot of fun playing this game and the amount of details they put into this for the characters, the fact that when you jump and turn quickly, Sonic will torque his body up and over slightly, its amazing. I feel like I'm actually playing a sonic game! In the end, this game is not pay to win, so long as you actually want to have fun in it. Sure there is the ability to buy things, but you could still believe that someone up on the leader board has actually achieved their rank. That's why it exists! People are just sometimes selfish and steal their mom's credit card XD Me personally, I buy my own, cause yeah. Alright thanks for listening!

Ngl I feel like ppl are saying "not" pay 2 win as the game being easily grindable. For me a game being P2W is being able to use cash to excel in the game very quickly compared to F2Ps. And my opinion is the game is indeed P2W, but it's a good thing that it's still pretty fun and you can get boosted pretty fast. But it still doesnt change the fact that P2Ws can get to lvl 100 in 10 minutes while F2ps take 60 minutes for lvl 100 💀

When you rebirth, you get a bigger multiplier. Without even using a gamepass , I got level 140 under a minute It is not pay to win, but it does have game passes so they can make some money. The game passes are also not even relevant anyway.
