After finding your channel last year I really enjoy your yearly trips to Flamingo Land and taking one for the team and getting on Hero 🤣 the panic of running up the moving seat, the battering of the back and shins and then having to roll back off 🤣 it’s an experience! Just wanted to say a huge thanks to you guys. I’m currently bedbound due to long covid, I was a coaster enthusiast as a teen and it’s been such a good escape getting back up to date with what’s going on at theme parks around the world due to your videos. I’m making my plans for visits when I’m a bit better but in the meantime I’m experiencing it virtually through YOU! 11 year old me’s mind would be blown that POVs would become such a thing! I’ve got great family memories going here on holiday in a caravan. Them days they had the black hole, corkscrew and the bullet rollercoaster, Tidal wave (my favourite) Top gun ride, also a themed Wild West area, circus on site and at night guest could walk around the park.

I went there once. I was visiting from Texas and my British family were wanting to go this one day. It just so happened to be the opening day of Mumbo Jumbo. The Guinness World Record people were there to present the award to the ride.

I use to go flamingo land every year in the 90s. Had some great rides like bullet, thunder mountain, top gun, terroriser, hammers, magnum force, wave, wild mouse and many more. Great theme park 👍 good zoo also

I had my first visit to Flamingo Land on Thursday and had a great day! Sik is such a great ride both on the front and back. I was suprised with how powerful the launch was on Velocity. Mumbo Jumbo is a great ride as well as Kumali with it been an SLC and as for Hero i just have no words!

Mumbo Jumbo was ahead of its time in my opinion, it had a stall, outerbanked turns when they wernt so common. Now they are on every new coaster it seems! You are a Hero for braving that coaster for your fans! How i wish Thorpe Park would either get the Sik trains for Colossus or ask Intamin to modify the restraints, its not like other parks have'nt done that! Makes a massive difference to the ride experience and pain! Aslo "out of context Shawn": "Oooh look at that battered sausage and chips, and theres sick there in the background, mmmm"

The last two seasons the price has gone INSANE for both day entry and staying over a few days. I’d say at least a 40% hike to where we (as a family of two adults and two under 5) simply cannot afford to go!! Sik should justify making the trip to what’s actually a fairly grotty, underinvested in, park. It shouldn’t justify putting the price up to silly figures. Such a shame I’d love to ride it!! Thanks you two, another epic vlog and hope to see you at Newcastle Hoppings this year 😊

Living in Scarborough, flamingo land is the only theme park I’ve ever been too, we often go during off season when the rides are closed just for the zoo and some food it’s lovely

I went to Flamingo Land yesterday for the first time and Hero was quite fun in my opinion! Me and my friend got our photo back! So funny! We did Sik 4 times, Kumali 3 and Velocity 2! We had a fab day and we enjoyed Hero quite a lot! It was strange because of the lying down but still loads of fun!

Hero is being removed at the end of the 2024 season. Also did you know that Sik isn’t actually new, far from it, it was basically kept in a box for over 19 years! The ride is repurposed but previously unused, having been held in storage for several years after it was originally ordered by Brazilian theme park Hopi Hari in 2011. It opened to the public in the UK on 2 July 2022.

Back in 2005, I actually visited Flamingo Land. A nice theme park in my opinion. Back then, I believe the largest coaster at the park was Magnum Force (the Schwarzkopf triple-looper). While I didn't ride it myself, a part of my group did, and they had a good time. Truth be told, I was a little intimidated by rollercoasters at the time. I also remember a shuttle coaster that was situated next to Magnum Force, I believe it was called "Bullet", but it was not operating when I visited the park. It's been a long time since I was in the UK, so I don't remember all that much from that trip. I do remember that we stayed in Scarborough though.

34:27 Really nice that the carousel ride operator turned on the carousel without any passengers onboard. The Volo Auto Museum in Illinois and the House on the Rocks in Wisconsin has carousels, the one in Wisconsin I believe has 5 times, but they won't let you board them due to them being 120 years old. I actually watched your vlogs on a RCA home theater projector for the first time ever, even though I have been watching four years already. Cameras don't always do injustice and most travel vlogs, I feel like I am getting the experience at the parks with you, whether watching it on TV or computer, but watching the vlogs on a home theater projector and you feel like you are at the parks more. You probably don't get a lot of viewers watching your vlogs on a Home Theater Projector.

Last year i got some Flamingo Land T shirts but they were only in the Hub shop and Zoo shops, dont know why. Other local vloggers have said that they are turning the large splash zone for the Lost River Ride into a new Sealion enclosure which will be an extra enclosure for the Sealions and that some of the ride is going to be above ground.

Back in the 90s Bullet was the main coaster, the thing used to roar and you went forwards and backwards.

It’s a great park. Kumali is my favourite coaster. My son’s first roller coaster was the dino roller at 15 months old so hoping he might be tall enough for a few more now. I like that you can take your dog too so you don’t have to leave them at home. It does get ridiculously busy in Summer. I can only go weekends or holidays. It’s rumoured that cliff hanger can’t operate the drop cycle any more at all due to maintenance issues, only the shot.

The Wagon Wheel wasn't from American Adventure, Flamingo Land have always had one. It was in the zoo area in the 80s. They bought the Mine Train, Motion Master and a few kiddies rides.

Last time I was there I was 16 😂 turn 40 in August 😂 One ride I loved there was called the bullet I think and magnum. My children are deciding where to go for my 40th is thorpe park or Alton towers I want to try new big one at Thorpe park but kids want nemisis reborn lol Great video as I point out few times over these channels I bloody wish Scotland would get a massive theme park only thing we have m&ds if still going?
