I'm sad I never got to experience it at Flamingo Land. Still a chance at Pleasurewood Hills, but not the original colour scheme or location 😢 Hopefully the rumours of Hero being removed over the 2019/20 winter season is true. We'll see another coaster come to Flamingo Land after the 10 Looping Coaster in 2020, cause I'll gladly see this space SBNO or empty for a few years cause something should fill it's place

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing that!! But I wished you had showed more of the new Riverside 1 area beside Cliffhanger and the Diner. Never mind. we are going back down there to stay for a week on the 9th August so we'll see it for the first time then. Been going to this place for over 15years. will never tire of it :-)

I go to flamingo land every year for a dance comp and last year I went on hero for the first time. I was only 12 but thought it looked awesome! I also went on the left hand outer cage and felt really uncomfortable and unsafe. I then went on the left hand inner cage and sure, it felt a bit comfort but it was by far the worst ride I had ever been on. Me and my twin both went on velocity tons and did different poses each time for the camera. Velocity is the best ride I have ever been on in my entire life!!! I'm going again in April for another dance comp and will be clogging whilst I'm there. Please check out my channel for updates and to see me at flamingo land! I don't have any videos on my channel yet but I am about to film one in a min about a tag I made out myself. Be sure to check it out everyone reading this comment! Please if you are reading this far DONT GO ON FLIPFLOP!!! My twins seatbelt came undone and the ride nearly went over the top which it wasn't built to do! We had the same problem waiting for the car park gates to open. Thankfully it wasn't very busy so we managed to get on everything about 3 times, but we went just before Hero and the dinosaur themed coaster opened. i have to disagree about velocity being the best. Personally I thought kumali was the best, velocity was a very close second though.

Ive rode hero loads and in my opinion theres nothing wrong with it. Yeah not all rides are really smooth. And you cant fall out because there are belts behind you. I can even do no hands on the corkscrew bit and i didnt fall out because i felt the belts behind me.

In my eyes, with this rumoured 10 Looping Coaster they've bought that'd set to be on Corkscrew's site, they'll get more money through the door and hopefully, they'll replace Hero with a Premier Sky Rocket II or something better than Hero. I know theme parks will only replace rides if the general public don't like it, not just the enthusiasts, but honestly why Hero hasn't been replaced or demolished yet I don't know why but hopefully this new coaster on the site of Corkscrew will start a new era and it'll be bye bye for the bad rides and least popular rides

I emailed flamingo land to kick up hell about the lost river ride it's been like that for 2 years now so I decided to email the email stated that it is crap with out the effects and the music The next day (today it said closed for mantanance lost river ride I think they heard me ) I hope the put it back if some one goes plz tell me
