I gotta say, I have some real respect for the people who made this game, to invest so much time in a game that talks about real world discrimination and dark themes like this, and has a overall sad and depressing feel, praticulalry the ending (four year olds don't really like sad endings, no matter how powerful said ending may be). This is honestly a game I would buy on steam or something, roblox really doesn't do it justice

albert being actually genuinely upset about how the game ended made me really happy, I feel so grateful that he would first of all play a game about homophobia which I really didn't expect seeing as it's really hard hitting in a depressing way while all the other games he plays are more funny than depressing so the fact he played anyways and actually enjoyed the game and how he didn't even question their relationship once during the whole video at all is amazing and I'm glad he figured out a way to balance the funny jokes in this video but still genuinely cared

as a person who has experienced this during a long stage of depression and constant loss of my loved ones one by one I would like to share my experience. I thought I was being haunted because the experience was so real. I couldn't breath or move and coudn't see the thing but I could feel its presence. all around me. I squinted my eyes and could see this hazy veiw of this human yet not human presence bearing over me. telling me terrible things and how I was going to die and how everyone hates me. how my family are going to be killed and my grandfather (who is dead now but had cancer at the time) was going to die a slow and painful death and I should stop hoping that he would get better. I was also living at my grandparents house at the time. stuck far away from my home, while I was there, here is the list of the loved ones that died: grandfather, art teacher, dog, friend, another friend, another friend, another friend, another friend, and best friend. this was a really tough period of my life. I'm better and safer now. this game didn't do sleep peralysis justice but I hope It could spread some awareness for how utterly terrifying it is. especially anticipating it every night. I also had panic attacks and was afraid of sleeping. I hope the developers go far in making this an experience to spread awareness

As a person who has experienced sleep paralysis, I would like to share my input. It is true that people experience it differently. Personally, my experience always started as a nightmare where all of my demons would make me have to walk somewhere in a set amount of time but instead of reaching there, slowly slowing down until I couldn’t move at all. After that, I would wake up and see the same demons from the nightmare watching over me until I either fell asleep again or waited until daybreak. Fortunately, my sleep paralysis stopped after I stopped having to see the human counterparts of the demons. I had to see them as they were my school teachers. For anyone else who experiences sleep paralysis, I suggest you try to find the cause as that will most likely help to stop the sleep paralysis.

Some of the main factors responsible for Sleep paralysis are- Psychological stress, Post-traumatic stress, Panic attacks, Fatigue, Irregular life patterns and Serious Sleep deprivation. It’s also common amongst people with mental illnesses, most of the time, incidents of sleep paralysis are where people cannot move or speak lying down on their back in their bed and you can also feel like something heavy is above you but of course as you said, some people experience it differently. A good side of sleep paralysis is if you learn to control and induce it, you can enjoy lucid dreaming and astral projection, i for one would absolutely love that. my own advice for it is to Relax and get better sleep. Seeking Therapy and overall embracing the light and happiness would completely destroy your chances of ever experiencing it. Anyways, i hope you stay well

I once had a friend called Chloe and she had night paralysis demons and she was a very delicate for a long time. She didn’t often draw but her therapist told her to and I wanted her to as well! As someone who gets sleep paralysis, yes, this is the crap that I have to deal with, except they just stare at me until I wake up. Uhm so yeah. Also, the way that the game portrayed homophobia was genius, it really shows the actual way things usually go at school or public spaces. It doesn't feel forced or cliche like other stores with similar themes. Great game. Great video.

As someone who also has sleep paralysis, it's been wacky. Though I have never seen a demon other stuff has happened. The first time I ever had sleep paralysis it was around 10 in the morning, I kept thinking in my head not to think about everything, (I had checked the time before I tried to sleep.) I "woke up" and everything looked normal but I couldn't move. A few seconds later my bed just randomly got thrown towards my window. I woke up, it was all normal till like a year later. It just happened a couple of times all the same, until one time I just kept on trying and trying to wake up and then I woke up into another dream, same place, I tried to walk out the door and I get thrown back and can't move. I keep getting teleported, until I finally wake up. A couple weeks ago I had two the same night. I couldn't see anything. Luckily since this has happened a lot, I knew what this was. (My first time not being able to see though.) I just tried to bang my head and feet until I finally woke up. Oml I just saw how much I wrote..

I did comment on this video a few months ago without explaining how I actually experienced it, and I'd like to say how I did. I was really young when it happened, so little things were already scary for me. First it was just hallucinations that I saw from time to time, then dreams of a very tall, pitch black man that had no face would always sit in my childhood room next to me in my bed whilst I tried to sleep, and once I even saw him peek his head on the side of my bed. I could never sleep, but I could speak very lightly like a whisper. I called him "Mr.Ghost Man". He would normally stay in my room in my house, but then he started moving around and started appearing behind my siblings when I talked to them. I only saw him for a second or two before he disappeared, though. I didn't seek therapy, like most would do, and just to make it worse, soon after almost a year passed, I finally stopped seeing him after I moved. This stopped 5 months ago, the week after I first commented on this video.e

As a lucid dreamer, i can clear up some confusion, Sleep paralysis happens when you wake up in EMC (Aka after a dream). Your brain is still in "dream mode" (no, not the minecraft youtuber.) Your body paralysis itself during it's sleep to prevent sleepwalking. And as your brain got suddently woken up in a dream, it may continue it's "dream" by hallucinations. (Personally had sleep paralysis, i closed my eyes and focused on the little dots behind them, which caused me to enter a dream.)

Here's a little tip :) If you have sleep paralysis, in your dream close your eyes and think about happy things and believe that they are real. If you do this, your sleep paralysis can turn into a lucid dream. How to avoid getting sleep paralysis: dont abuse any medication, try not to get stressed too much, stay on a sleep schedule, and don't sleep on your back as it will make you more vulnerable to sleep paralysis

i used to have sleep paralysis and yeah its quite different for everyone. my experience was regular and consistent, it was mostly multiple people/demons staring at me and watching me and i just felt helplessness, or the feeling of being choked. i ended up losing sleep and started to hallucinate in school too but noone took me seriously. i don't get dreams like that anymore, and im really glad that i dont. those were honestly the darkest moments of my life.

I've experiencing sleep paralysis on regular basis(it's not always weekly or everyday, it just happened some sleepnight) because schools makes me have unbalanced sleep and mostly crave for it, since before. There's just this time when I force to make my self out of bed, I could feel I successfully did it and made it out of my room and do my stuff in the morning, but then I've realized there's something missing on me and it make me unable to do anything controllable and that makes me go back to the "state" and wake from sweat. Anyway I aLWays face the window and on the other side covered with watercolor pad, I never lay in the bed on my back. So in case I'm going to encounter it again, I would not see my surrounding and have more panic attack. If you're going to experience it, the best relief for it was to not panic and try to compose yourself from deep breathing, and you try to move your fingers on hand and feet afterwards. It's possible. And don't sleep again if you have wake. Because it could appear again. But sometimes I just shrug it off if I'm still really sleepy hahahaha

There was one guy that experienced this, and it was horrible. He heard sounds of glass breaking downstairs and he had a security camera in there that he viewed from his bedroom while having sleep paralysis. He saw the demonic entity in there breaking plates and utensils and then it was gone. Then however he heard something rushing up the stairs and come right to his door, and it was terrifying. Then he woke up and everything was fine. EDIT: He was paralyzed during this experience and could only move his eyes, and it was so vivid that it couldn't have been a dream.

I don't have sleep paralysis but I've had one kind of like one. It started after I had 2 lucid nightmares back to back. After I woke up from the first one, went back to sleep and was in another one, my hands were practically glued to each other and once i got them detached I woke up again. After I slept again I found out in the third dream or whatever it was that I was just glued to the bed straight down and couldn't move. Everytime I tried there would be a horrible pain in my back and I eventually gave up. I don't remember too much about it but there wasn't an actual harmful thing in there so idk if it was just another lucid nightmare since I was aware it wasn't real but still scared.

The best part about lucid nightmares is the control you have. Once had a lucid nightmare that freddy C. was chasing me across blue lakes so once I became lucid I jumped across the entire lake and made a mario kart blue shell apear, I also turned him into the hash slinging slasher, so I didnt get sleep paralysized too badly because the hash slinging slashed spinning around on my couch breifly isnt as scary as he crawler demons.

As somebody who had experienced sleep paralysis for almost a month straight, I can confirm that this game is slightly true. When your sleeping, you wake up but you haven’t really woken up yet. You cannot control most things, except usually breathing. At least from my experience. But you will see some horrifying crap, demonlike figures, stuff that seems real and isn’t real. Once I went through a endless tunnel, and once I flew up from the window and saw “heaven” according to a voice that I heard. Other times you hear weird sounds, like I heard a distorted sound of the fan and it sounded like a Lamborghini Hurcan. Anyways for me the most scary part is not being able to move. I escape it by moving my fingers and much as possible and I usually get control of myself again.

i've had sleep paralysis three times, one where i was fortunately under my blanket and just heard disturbing stuff. in the other scenarios i saw a dark hooded shadowy figure, it looked like the grim reaper. it had a coat that wasnt well fitted, the sleeves hanging of a feet. he had the hand of a skeleton wielding the iconic scythe. that was when i learned, the more you panic, the more you hallucinate. after a while of staring into the hooded abyss, i thought of something more calming, and the creature faded away. the other time i saw a bunch of blue skinned "aliens". they would slowly fade away until i blinked, then they came back. they didnt do anything and seemed friendly so i blinked very much to not be alone in this dark room (this was from i was a child). it was such a long time ago i dont remember the ending. anyways, this comment is late compared to the video, so thank you if you read through this.

As someone with sleep paralysis, there are two forms, I personally have the kind where your eyes remain shut and I cannot open them, so I can only hear whispering and wind rushing. That kind of stuff. Other people have where they can't shut their eyes where the "demons" are more visible. If you wiggle your toes it pulls you out of it pretty fast.

I would like to share my sisters sleep paralysis experience, she told me that me and my other sister were playing in her room, she was confused being unable to move, she heard me say “dont go inside” she heard screaming a few seconds later, she then saw something at the corner of her room, a very tall black figure she detailed probably 9 feet tall, its head almost touching the ceiling, she shut her eyes closed and thought in her head “God please” a few seconds later she hears a whisper in her ear a very croaked whisper, “God is dead” she then woke up after 2 minutes of silence , sweat on her forehead and tears falling down her cheek, she has told me this story 4 times and it still gives me the chills about sleep paralysis, i haven’t experience it myself but I really hope I don’t and never will, pro tip do not think of anything because according to my sister, it can read your mind.

This video made me remember something i didn’t want to. When I was 10 I ised to have sleep paralysis regularly. I remember vividly that there was a tree in front of my bed with something behind it. A few nights later while getting nothing from sleep paralysis the last few nights, I wake up and feel normal until I try to move (which I can’t) and see a figure which I could only describe as satan himself. I was terrified and my day was ruined and I spent my whole day in my room, fearing for my life. Also, the figure did not do anything except stare constantly, without blinking or moving. It was a terrible year while I was 10 since I have so many more stories like that.

i’d honestly really love more content like this from albert, stuff talking about real world problems but a video that would still be able to make you laugh. thank you for playing a game that included the wlw community,, despite it having a really sad ending. also a short little ‘story’ about my experience with sleep paralysis; i’ve only gone through it once, and this was when i was getting absolutely no sleep,, and when i did sleep i slept at absurd times. i remember at first hearing arguing outside my window, and then a couple of gunshots. my eyes were closed at the time, obviously i was extremely shaken and didn’t want to get up. eventually i opened my eyes, and i saw a shadow moving across my room. at this point, because of how much i read on sleep paralysis, i had an idea on what was going on and immediately shut my eyes, trying my hardest to move my body and touch my dog who was beside me so i could get some sense of reality. it’s like i could feel the shadows face right in front of mine. it was so terrifying, despite having my eyes closed i could still feel their presence. then, i was finally able to move my arm, and that’s when i knew it was over. thankfully it was only a one time thing, and i had my eyes closed during most of it.
