Flamingos in Germany: Zwillbrocker Venn

Zwillbrocker Venn and Ellewicker Feld are west of Munster on the Dutch border. Wet meadows and a shallow lake and many birds can be found in the sanctuary. Flamingos, which breed here every year, are particularly interesting. There is also a huge colony of black-headed gulls.
