Wedeler Marsch

The Wedeler Marsch is located just west of Hamburg on the north bank of the Elbe River. With its flooded meadows and abundant reeds, the area is a haven for birds. In winter, impressive numbers of Barnacle Geese gather here for the flight to the breeding grounds.
