Title: Dans un autre monde (In another world)

As it previously happened with Frozen, Charlotte Hervieux’s singing parts were kept in the Canadian version, while the speaking is provided by Aurélie Morgane for the Canadian version (as already in the first movie) and by Charlotte herself in the European version. Because French dubs can't be without fucking everything up as best they can.
Anaïs Delva, Elsa’s voice in the first movie (as well as in the short sequels “Frozen Fever” and “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure”) did not return for the big sequel. Charlotte Hervieux took over the role.

Some people keep asking if anyone noticed if these aren't the real lyrics. 1. Nah you don't say 2. If they translated it from the normal lyrics it wouldn't rhyme 3. One english word can translate to multiple in french so it wouldn't match the tune 4. It just wouldn't make sense 5. It's fine they basically make across the same message anyways so....

Exactly the song wouldn’t be as smooth without the rhymes. It has to be changed slightly but the song still has the same meaning.

HOWEVER ! Sometimes, it seems like translators can't find the perfect match between the meaning and the rime. So..that's why it's better in VO. I confirm this as a French native.

"into the unknown" (original version in english) = mouth opened because of the way it sounds in english and rhythm in 5 steps >>> in - to - the - un - knowwwwwwwn. "Dans l'inconnu" (literal translation in french) = mouth would be almost closed and streched because of the sound "U" of french language in real life and rhythm in 4 steps >>> dans - l'in - co - nuuuuuuu (rhythm and sound of the voice would look weird and not synched to lips movments from original version in english). "Dans un autre monde" = mouth almost opened because of way it sounds in french in real life and rhythm in 5 steps >>> dans - un - au - tre - monnnnnnnde (so it fits with rhythm and lips from original version in English). I hope people understand now why sometimes translations cannot be respected and applied from original version of a movie !

Elle ne réveille pas le royaume à se que l'on peut croire. Elle cris "DANS UN AUTRE MONNNNNNNDE" du côté où il y a la mer (ou lac ?). Le royaume est en haut et le château plus en bas, genre sur l'eau quoi et donc Elsa elle crie du côté où il n'y a personne. Pareil quand elle est en bas, elle est du côté du lac, on peut le voir dans le 1 quand elle veut s'échapper du royaume après avoir fait découvrir ses pouvoirs par inadvertance, elle s'enfuit du même côté que là où elle chante. En résumé, elle ne réveille pas le royaume et chante du côté du lac, pas du royaume, et donc elle ne réveille personne.

I love the difference in english and french frozen. With this song english elsa is like every dating profile and saying "i like to go on adventures". E improvvisamente mi sento nel 2014. Ricordo quando caricasti "All'alba sorgerò" sottotitolato in inglese e scrissi un piccolo commento che si trasformò presto in una piacevole discussione sull'adattamento italiano. Se non ricordo male, tra l'altro, era il video attraverso il quale ti ho conosciuto. Inoltre ricordo benissimo quando caricavi un po' alla volta "Let it go" in altre lingue (in francese, in svedese, in norvegese, in danese e in coreano), lasciandomi sempre di più stupito dal numero di idiomi che conosci. E niente... Ora sono qua, 5 anni dopo, quasi 6, a fare più o meno la medesima cosa. Come passa velocemente il tempo... Però c'è da dire che le belle persone rimangono ^^ Comunque, dopo questa crisi dovuta allo scorrere inesorabile del tempo (dicembre mi fa questo effetto...), passo a commentare l'adattamento di "Into the Unknown" xD Allora... La maggior parte del testo, se non quasi tutta l'intera canzone, mi sembra abbastanza simile alla versione originale, l'unico verso che trovo diverso e carino è "È un vento di libertà? Un sentiero abbandonato?". La scelta di "In un altro mondo" come ritornello penso sia azzeccata, soprattutto per il labiale che sto notando essere sempre più curato. C'è da dire che non è ancora perfetto il lyp-sinc, ma, almeno per quanto riguarda questa canzone, è sicuramente più curato rispetto alle canzoni del primo film. Inoltre preferisco Charlotte Hervieux, rispetto ad Anaïs Delva. Ha una voce meno da diva che calza meglio nel personaggio di Elsa. Tu che ne pensi? Comunque, complimenti per il montaggio video! Ogni tuo video è piacevolissimo da vedere ^^
