@@HAWKSTA24 He, much like myself and plenty of others, love to get the highlights of the game without having to actively spend their time being frustrated by the the BS elements of the game. Like flamu himself has said, the core mechanics of the game is fundamentally amazing, and caters to such an untapped niche of gaming. However, the general population isn't in control of and sometimes doesn't agree with the decisions WG makes, and personally I don't see any reason to put up with the frustration of CVs and subs just to play a game in any of my surface ships. If i don't have a say in the meta AND the meta isn't to my liking, i just won't play the game. I can't speak for everyone else but i suspect this is the reason amongst most of us who watch but don't play the game. We watch people play the game because firstly, it offers us glimpses into why we enjoyed the game to begin with, but also why we're very happy to not be playing it. Secondly, the commentators themselves are worth watching to some of us, be it flamu, malta, PQ, SLB, jingles, QB etc. cause it offers some passive entertainement. Even today, if WG decided to undo some of their policies regarding subs and CVs, i think myself and many others would be more than willing to jump back in and enjoy the parts of the game that we liked in the first place. If they don't, well then we're perfectly content getting the gist of it all from content creators of the game, with a slight sense of sadness that we can no longer enjoy the game like we used to, but simultaneously relief that we no longer have to deal with the frustration that the content creators themselves have to go through. But this is just my 2 cents

dude, the moment i saw the CV spotted and you were playing the CV deleter Vermont I actually cheered out loud cause i knew what was coming. Beautiful. simply beautiful. and the fact your cv took a few minutes to keep their cv spotted? chef's kiss. Of course the moment WG sees this video they'll nerf Vermont's long range shooting again. Can't have it countering CVs early in matches. and yes, the whole alt american bb line due to the slow reload is just snipper play. find big broadside targets, and shoot em from anywhere on the map. unlike Yamato, which can get some quick reloads, you got to wait for your shot in the american alt line. finally, i agree with you about ranked. I was in a 6v6 ranked match, sank 4, did 260k damage and our team still lost. it was sureal.

Yup. I fire 1 shot and 2 teammates are dead. First thing they do is spam chat with shit Vermont camper!! And every idiot that dies after just follows chat and blame everything on the Vermont. I enjoyed playing this ship more then anything purely cause of the salty teammates. Even when carrieing the game they have the nerf to spam me in port. And ofcourse I was always chatbanned so when I got to port it was time to put them in place!!

Vermonts biggest handicap is its own teammates. I had a Thunderer and Yamato sailing right beside me for so many games. Even Republics that decide to sit beside me in my sniper spot. They ruin crossfires so often.

As much as I like the new Vermont after all the buffs it recieved, I kinda wish the future US Superbattleship would be an upsized Montana hull with Vermont guns and the same 30% dispersion special gimmick of the Super Kremlin, it may not have the overmatch of the Hannover and Satsuma but at least anything those shells touch will be completely deleted.

I can never get tired of watching a CV get deleted early game - the impact on the fun factor for everyone else in the team is MASSIVE, as can be seen from the cheering in chat. Completely agree with the insta +1 btw - I would do exactly the same since it would let me actually enjoy the rest of the game. Imagine a game where you could actually utilise the strengths of your surface ship.............

A few days ago I had a ranked match in my Desmo where I killed half their team and scored 300k damage and we still lost. 300k in ranked and a loss! Needless to say I had played enough ranked for the day. Edit: Yesterday I had another similar match, where I scored 250k after farming their Yamato, scoring a kill on their Kremlin after a drive-by and disemboweling their Hindi on my flank. I had a Monti with me, which got killed by the Kremlin and our other (strong) flank consisting of Stalin himself, Thunderer, Shima and GK lost to their GK, Daring and Desmo. Luckily I was able to score the second cap on my flank and secure the win.

I'll just say that Vermont is a REALLY Good Ship in my opinion. Sure everything is slow like Max Speed and Reload but if you don't aim like a braindead Animal, your Salvos will DEFINITELY send someone to the hospital. These Shells will even pen through your Screen and hit you IRL

Basically, only Incomparable and Schlieffen have below 20km range in T10, rest have 20+km Why vermont has 12.7km conceal because recently WG buff her conceal+maneuver and nerf her gun. If you concern about his vermont has 28km+ (with spotter planes 30km+) because he use slot 3 range and dispersion in slot 6. US BB dont have Aiming System Mod 1 (reduce dispersion by 7%) in slot 3 however WG move it to slot 6 with 11% reduction Since you already play the game, you understand about concealment slot and concealment skill in captain
