I want to say that I hate wasting food. I'm not picky when it comes to funny parts of animals. I eat gizzards, liver, chicken necks, tripe, whatever. This has to do with some type of preservative or filler... some people have stomachs of steel. That's awesome. Yay. We literally had to air the house out. 😒

Man we're these awful. I actually remember my mom buying these and thinking they were the worst. I'd rather eat vomit then this garbage. My girlfriend and mom wouldn't eat this crap and they're not choose. I saw a movie with mucus that resembled an egg and makes me sick and I could watch it eating runny eggs and not get sick. Drinking out of my toilet bowl wouldn't be a disgusting

it's basically hot dogs mixed with potted meat not real ground beef. you know that right? yes kids will know the difference. it has a toughness rubber grittiness texture. definitely not worth trying to save a few dollars even if means buying the lowest grade 73/27% it's still better than flanders. find other ways to save money.

I think it's the combination of two things grossing you out here: textured vegetable protein and beef hearts. Beef heart leaves a...film on the mouth after you eat it. That's why heart ain't too popular except when snuck in as a filler like here. (I added this as a reply but deleted it)

I think for most people, maybe. I'm pretty tough. I eat gristle, gizzards, etc. I love all that stuff during turkey season. It may be that textured soy/veg-protein... I don't handle overly manipulated foods well sadly 😔 Even regular meat these days have added stuff that puts me down. It gives me a migraine really quick even cooking it. I do believe though, if you love it- eat it! 🤗

@@octoberdawn1087 No I completely understand, offal (especially liver) is awesome and we all ought to eat more of it. It's just that heart in particular has this weird texture, and I can always tell when a meat product (beef sticks, these things) uses it as a filler.
