When i use frozen patties, i season one side of 2 patties with cajun 2 step and salt, put the seasoned sides together, then smash them down to 1 burger. The seasoning cooks through to the outside while you cook it. Sometimes i use tiger sauce on them on the grill like you would use barbecue sauce. You just have to coat it with tiger sauce a couple of times since it isn't as thick as barbecue sauce. Its a really good flavor on a burger

Here's the thing. For the same price (it's actually a little bit cheaper) you could make double burgers using the Walmart bag version as opposed to a single Bubba Burger and the Walmart burger would taste almost the same with a lot more burger. Six 1/3lbs Bubbas are $14 at my walmart while twelve 1/4lbs Great Value burgers cost $13. If this review claims that they are super close in taste, then it's almost a no-brainer to get the Great Value burgers because you could be having 1/2lbs burgers for the price of 1/3lbs burgers. I'd normally agree with quality over quantity, but I also think Walmart is able to bring equal quality due to their sheer size while keeping costs down over a much smaller company like Bubba so the argument of Bubba being higher quality is pretty much non-existent.

The best I’ve tried is the Costco grass fed frozen burgers- I think they’re 1/3lb patties- pro tip- set them out an hour before on a cookie sheet with parchment paper- burgers on top- they’ll thaw just enough to accept the seasoning and then on a hot bbq- as good as fresh seasoned meat! I use Montreal coarse seasoning- then I run it through my fine grinder- wow! Next level taste!

I live alone and pretty much only cook from frozen on my pellet grill. I really like the one third pound Angus burgers (bacon and cheddar) I also like mine with a thick slice of grilled onion. I grill one side of my sliced onions then set them aside. Then I grill on side of of my burgers at 450. I only turn my burgers one time after I get some grill marks. Once I flip the burgers I put the onion slice on top with the grill marks up. When I get grill marks on the burger they go straight to the plate or the bun.

You won’t be sorry! They are excellent and I am not a fan of frozen burgers. Get the ones with onion.

It's time for you to try a Bubba Burger Mam, they are just what they say they are, 100% ground chuck..From a meat cutter for 35 years...just sayin'...

@@jeffsmith2022 I’ll take your word for it, buddy. I’m a former meat cutter myself! Texas Roudhouse. But I’ll get some and get back with ya!

I promise you that back in the day the Philly Gourmet were excellent! They were nothing like they are today! They used to be circular and uniformed with a good taste and no nasty after taste or hard chunks of gristle. They SUCK now and it breaks my heart. My family comes from Little Italy ans things have just gone down hill with everything Philly related. The food, the neighborhoods, the metro, it just makes me sad thinking about it. We still have Rapa scrapple though!

Many folks appear to have the same experience with the Philly Gormet and I agree with you, it’s difficult to see that happen especially when you’re close to a product.

We've had the Great Value many times. I tried the Marketside last time. They were hard to get apart. Wife actually broke the glass stove top with them. I'm going to try the Bubba Burgers next.😊

Im gonna have to try the Bubba burgers. Sometimes you just need a quick burger to throw on the grill! I do love the 6 oz patties from Shulers but i dont always have room for 10 lbs of burger patties in my freezer

Oh Huss, in my humble opinion Sams has Members Mark 1/3 lb Angus or Sirloin that do the trick I also but the premade sliders in the beef section for smash burgers

Bubba burgers are good , but you just can't knock the value and taste of the " bag o patty's " Great value burgers. I've been using those for years when I need to make a quick last-minute meal for the family.

Nope, sure cannot. AND Bubba got a chip on his shoulder with them prices.
