I was able to find Sheriff Flannery on Find-A-Grave and you seem to be correct. What I read says he hung himself in a barn and his 12-year-old daughter, Ernestine, found him 💔

Nice tour, thanks! You must love how a couple Blue Jay's cut through ( at 2:43 video time ) and were quick to broadcast that there is/was a human walking around. I have been deep in the bush and they just couldn't wait to tell all the other critters.
