Flash Drive install Windows 10 Blinking cursor at top left corner

this is just 4 SEO:
Trying to boot from the USB drive a short glimpse of the Windows 10 logo flashes and then the screen goes blak with a cursor blinking on the top left corner of the screen and the USB drive LED continues to blink.
When I boot from that USB drive, the windows 10 logo shows up for a second and then the black screen with a blinking cursor on top left corner.
I just downloaded a copy of windows 10 bootable image from a different source and created a bootable USB drive using Rufus by setting MBR and non-UEFI mode. When tried to boot from that, now the windows 10 logo shows up and it remains, nothing happens after that seems like stuck at logo.

@Zaid Shaikh yes it did, and it'll work for you as well, any operation on any PC, whatever its specs, you should not wait for it for more than 30 minutes, if it lasted more than that then there is an error, use count down watch as used by the video uploader in the video you saw. unless there is an already timer in the operation of your pc.

For new and old PC's, here's what worked for me: In my case, I tried waiting as the video suggested but it didn't work, I waited for almost 50 min. What worked instead was updating the BIOS to the lates version published. After that, I booted from the usb and it worked instantly. Btw mine is a completely new build so it can happen to anyone aparrently. I hope this helps.

@@goatededits6445 You just have to download the lates BIOS version from your motherboard's official website and then copy an paste it to an USB, after that you just restart your computer > go to BIOS settings(press DEL/F12 or whatever that works on your motherboard) > go to Q-flash option and finally click in "update BIOS", that's pretty much it, you can also check some tutorials on youtube on how to do it. Anyways, this is what worked for me, after that, i could just install Windows in 3 min. Good Luck mate.

Lol. To be fair, tbey could have added some kind of text notification like "loading..." Also they could have included this information on the Media Crestion Website. This is just Microsoft not being cognizant of it's intermediate users. (People who haven't encountered this issue, yet are trying to fix it themselves.) In the forums, they treat you like your stupid and ask the same questions/sent people to the same pages. But nobody EVER mentions it could take more than a few minutes to load the USB.

I've been through hell in the past two days, jumping from error to invalid partition tables to everything possible. This is especially useful if you're trying to install on old computers that only have usb 1 ports or operate at usb 1 speed before all drivers are installed. It is SLOW. Even if you've upgraded with a SSD, the usb install is going to take some time to initialize but then it's all good and fast.

and it worked, I thank you brother, took 15 minutes to me tho, so here's my advice: the maximum time to wait always for any operation in any PC is 30 minutes, set a count down in your phone, like what he did in the video, if it lasted too long, then there is an error. unless a timer is set. hope it works for you all as well.

Works on Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2C with W10 2021. april version, and rufus MBR USB installer. The installer starts right after 15 minutes. After this the installer is very slow. You have to wait 2-5 minutes after each menu.

Actually, It first gives off a Windows logo for a 0.02 seconds. Pretty hard to see it but it does. So it could basically mean thats an issue happened when you made the Bootable USB !

Hi, I had the same issue when I wanted to install Win10 on my very old notebook (non-UEFI, x32), I tried to use Windows prepared by Windows Media Creator Tool and downloaded by it and flashed on USB via RuFuS. I waited and waited and after ~10 minutes win-logo flashed, I had black screen (without blinking underscore) and then it appeared again for very long time. I wanted to unpack that iso and copy to usb manually and noticed that I had warning while unpacking iso via 7zip (error: "There are some data after the end of the paayload data") because of unkown error despite it looked fine. I used MS tool to download again iso and again got that error. I found found custom multiiedition windows 10 on internet and flashed on my usb again via RuFuS. It booted withing less that 30 seconds and windows is installing now :) Also it unpacks via 7zip. Conclusion: MS broke someting again.

This happensed to me so I shut off my pc and turned it back on to find I had a black screen crash. I reset my motherboard/bios by taking out the battery for a few minutes and putting it back in. I may try this again and wait the time to see if it boots.
