Even though it may seem that major cities in Louisiana such as Baton Rouge and New Orleans have recovered from hurricane Ida. Remember that smaller and coastal cities near them have not and probably won’t fully recover for quite some time. The power is till out in many areas and people are still in need of help. Hurricane season is just a little halfway over, Louisiana cannot afford another hurricane, especially southern Louisiana. Hopefully we will be sparred from tropical weather during these last months of hurricane season.

Exactly right! I live in southern Louisiana close by New Orleans and thankfully my house was not damaged just some very high water, but my grandparents had 8-9 trees down and one on the house,the roof ripped up,and etc. but we are all okay.

@@lynseyy Serious non judgemental question but why do you guys still live there? It seems every ten years or so something like this happens.
@lynseyy3 жыл бұрын
@@OSKSNAKE yes I see what your saying but, I grew up around the crawfish, rodeos, hunting, and all that and it’s hard to leave a country state like that. And yes I agree bad things do happen but it’s like you leaving that state you grew up in. You would be leaving all your friends and family. I’m not trying to start any argument but that’s just how I feel.

Most Americans don't realize this because the MSM have stop covering it, if it wasn't for channels like this nobody would know how they are faring down there.

Hope you realize that is salt water you are going through. If you don’t wash with fresh water it will rust out.

I wondered how they were coping there with this rain depression, seems like the MSM have moved on to other things now because none of them are reporting on this.
