The most impressive thing in this video is Louis' glasses catching skill. And that campus body twist.

I absolutely love your content and personality! I would just like to offer one peice of advice. That being raising the camera person off the ground! Having them on a box/ladder etc let's us look down on some of the holds and see how good/bad they are! This tip is courtesy of Magnus.

I find it hard to read the climb from such steep angles. I like the straight in camera more, myself.
@jacktrussler202 жыл бұрын
@@FlarkeFiasco maybe we've misunderstood, I don't mean looking down from a great height. I'm talking maybe half way up the wall?

@@FlarkeFiasco yeah I think so too. Especially you have only one camera angle, it should be straight imo :)

To spice up the game you could make a rule to only move on to the boulder, which is right next to the one you just did. So you can't make 'tactical decisions' and don't choose the ease ones :)

Are the moves at 8:41 and 8:02 a favorite of louis, or does this gym just set that kind of move a lot? I've never come across this kind of compy move before so it's really interesting to me - pulling from a barndoor into a double clutch. Is it the easiest beta, or does louis just preferentially do things that can be staticed dynamically?
@nkartashov2 жыл бұрын
I've seen such moves set in Bethwall, a different gym in the same system, it feels like this type of move is useful when you're going dynamically and the top hold is not good enough to hold the swing

My glasses tend to fall off when I get sweaty too. I bought some small silicone attachments that you can just slip onto the back of your glasses and they won't fall off anymore. It was a game changer for me and I don't even notice that I'm wearing glasses anymore!

I don't understand this adjusting rule. Seems like you are pumping hands and feet in the holds, turning around you hand in the hold and often matching feet/hands and then other times being careful not to. So what does this rule actually mean?

This vid is from a while ago. I hope you did buy new, more fitting glasses. Had the same problem with my old glasses. I used to get headaches cos I was clenching my scalp muscles to hold the glasses in place when bending over. Not fun, plus it distracts you from climbing.. 😊

Louis is the dad that climbs in cobras and downclimbs everything but still flashes your V8 project. Also you seem to try really hard to downclimb everything. Do you have back or knee problems? Thats what Ive been doing since having my back problems, pretty sucky that Im afraid to really push on some projects.
