Dr Pallavi Singh is currently a Lecturer at the University of Essex. Her research interests in plant biology are focussed on understanding and enhancing photosynthesis and plant productivity. Before
moving to Essex, she was a Research Fellow to the University of Cambridge (2017-2022), where she worked on transcriptional regulation of C4 photosynthesis and monocot grafting. She completed her PhD (2016) at NIPGR, India, where she worked on flooding tolerance in rice. As a visiting researcher at Cornell University, USA (2016), she worked on rice-pathogen interactions.
