Wade in his prime was an absolute beast! If only knee injuries didn't plague him throughout his career
@TheKos2Kos2 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about ? Wade never injured his knee in the nba. His issue was that removed his left meniscus during his college days. That lack of cushioning in his knee lead to him having chronic left knee arthritis early and throughout his career. Westbrook had a similar injury but fortunately for him, surgeons now repair menisci for athletes instead of just removing it like they still do for most patients. He could of been a premiere jumpshooter and still would of had a short time because of knee soreness just from being a pro athlete without a meniscus.
@DrJay-mi7ve2 жыл бұрын
@@TheKos2Kos You're right but in a couple news articles, he said he was considering retiring early during his latter prime years due to the pain in his right knee. So though it wasn't really an injury (mb), it did affect him on the court.

After watching this I dont hesitate to put wade above kobe anymore. Wade is just way more efficient. Kobe ain't ever even made like 48% of shots in careers and shot below 40% multiple times. Wade aint never gone below 40% and like jordan, he was multiple above 50% shooting. Kobe never dominated a finals like wade did. The same 2004 pistons team that took out kobe and shaq in 5 games almost lost to shaq and an injured wade in game 7 in 2005 conf finals. Then you know what they did in 2006 against the pistons and Mavericks

I believe even if Lebron didn’t go to Miami, the Heat would of been dominating the league. They had the money to put valuable players around Wade. That to me is the main reason Lebron went there. He understood how good DWade was and was going to be.

@TheKos2Kos2 жыл бұрын
I almost posted the same thing . So True except that it was not Wade's decision to remove it during his college years. Surgeons back then still preferred to remove menisci than repair them for pro athletes. These days the research and progress now tells surgeons to repair the menisci for pro athlete prospects but still tend to remove menisci for non pro athletes

Kobe is one of my favs. I saw post prime kobe shot under 40% multiple times. Wade ain't never been that. Prime Kobe could never even make 49% of his shots. MJ and Wade have multiple seasons shooting above 50%. I dont hesitate to build a team with wade instead of kobe because of kobes lack of efficiency and seeing kobe/shaq lose in 5 games to the pistons in 2004 finals then one year later a injured second year wade and shaq took them same pistons to game 7. It's not by a whole lot obviously. But I'm taking MJ all day then I'm picking D wade. Kobe never showed that he can be efficient...honestly he lucky he didnt play for pat riley because riley dont play that bullsh*t hero ball that Kobe fans like me loved kobe for or maybe nba players were lucky tha to never see an efficient kobe 🤓. Kobe is the best bad shot maker of all time. Think about this...kobe got more missed shots than karl malone but malone and kobe got the same number of field goal attempts (26210 for malone and 26200 for kobe) and malone scored more than 3000 more points than kobe
@TheKos2Kos2 жыл бұрын
One more thing , Kobe's daddy Joe Bryant was also a first round nba draft pick...why the hell is kobe so inefficient. But kobe is a monster that I love just think Wade's prime is much better and kobes career accolades is just better

Why didnt he tell the whole 2016 story? Dont sleep on 2016 wade. Supposedly washed up wade lead the nba in clutch points and he took them to game 7 of the semis without bosh at all since bosh was dealing with blood clots then during the semis whiteside got hurt but "washed up" wade with little help from joe johnson still pushed them to game 7. Just a Whiteside injury away from finally seeing wade vs lebron in the 2016 conf finals

No his surgeons at the time still opted to remove menisci instead of repairing menisci like they do for todays players like westbrook who had a similar injury. Wade his injury during 2000s when he was in college. Wade never injured his knee during his time in the nba...amazing what he did with an arthritic knee since his first day in the nba.
