This seems like a lot of Jaedong's recent games. He does 95% of everything super super well, but he seems to make one or two big blunders (losing the overlord, sunkens 5 seconds too slow) that cost him. Soulkey would have done everything Jaedong did, but would also have had defense at his 3rd and would have been in a dominate position.

Agreed. You can tell that, if not for those "one or two big blunders", he wouldn't be that far from ASL-winning shape. The moments of brilliance are still there, but in ZvT, everything can fall apart so fast if you make just one mistake. Hopefully we'll get some clean Jaedong next ASL… I still believe he'll win an ASL soon.

@@Figgy20000 I only played 3v3 , tvb zero clutter maps. So watching all these build timing pro videos is just a little mind numbing. 400+ APM, overmicroing an scv scout. Shits cray. These pros have every little bit of gas figured out in their head.

I see why you think so and maybe you are right, but the camera went to the overlord after the scan sound right away and we didn't see the 'sparkle' of the scan. I think Jaedong was trying to peek in with the overlord (you can see it edging in) but the turret triggered and then the marines finished it off. Flash may have simply been scanning Jaedong's base. Not sure. Good catch on the scan sound.

Its starting to get really worrysome how JD plays recently like 90% of his games he does super well then he forgets to do something super basic/mundane thing , enemy A clicks into his base and he dies. This was true even in his ASL games.

The key was the mutas not doing anything. The game normlaizes with mutas killing like 15 scv . If they kill non terran is massively ahead

i felt like flashes macro there was a bit different than we see from most terrans right. When they are moving out with thier first push i feel like macro slows down. Flash moved with that first tank push and lost it. But the secondf wave was soooo strong. Looked like barely missed a marine cycle.
