well done Paul great dig,is the shaft on the sand scoop wood m8 saw it was floating. mine is metal for to be strong in the wet sand, are wood shafts ok ,thanks billy.

bill meadowfieldboy saunders hey bill the yellow shaft is laminated ash it's ok for dry sand and light work, get to the heavy sand and it's a bit of a strain on it, the black one I use is carbon, and the green one is stainless for really heavy work but it weighs a ton.. best wishes paul
