I bought this flashlight and love it. I glued a powerful magnet to the tail end so now I have a magnetic base and can attach the light on any metal surface for working.

01:36 for protected batteries, I would recommend one of the newer chargers from either fenix or nitecore. I went with the nitecore UMs4, but then I was gifted a fenix ARE-D2 by a friend of the family. Both of those chargers can fit protected 21700's with charging ports.

That green tint shift on the SST70... I've seen some photos of it on BLF but in real flashlight it looks worse than Cree XHP leds.

I ordered a spare Fenix ARB-L21-5000U rechargeable battery and when fully charged it indicates a blue light at the top of the battery but the one that came with my flashlight indicates green when fully charged. Why two different fully charged colours for the exact same batteries ?

Aah.. just finish dinner.. a cup of coffee, lit a 'kretek' cigarette to puff.. and.. your video.. 😊 nice beam dispersion,nice tint, but ui-wise; it seems quicker to get to turbo from low with the 4 mode s21a, and reach 125 m for better use (imho).. the sofirn looks nice and wide also.. hmm.. vanhalla is empty .. i have to get use to it.. I've never had mine deeper than 5' but not one of them failed. I had them under and in and out for hours in a pocket while swimming and playing in the pool with my family. When my son was little he pretended he was treasure hunting and also pretended to be a submarine and the lights never did fail
