Phenomenal and criminally underrated guitar player huge influence on me!! James can play anything and such a refreshing player during the explosion of Death Metal in the late 80's and early 90's where the second you heard a solo you instantly knew it was James Murphy with those palm muted runs so clean! Ive had the honor of meeting James a couple times going as far as giving me a ticket to a show on my birthday of all days lol Such a humble and down to earth guy and also his talent as an engineer and producer cannot be understated!! If you haven't heard his playing go out and get Death "Spiritual Healing" Cancer,Disincarnate,Obituary "Cause of Death"!! His two solo albums are a awesome his stuff with Testament too!!
