Any particular reason you didnt just select the "Magic Home" module type in the tasmota configuration?

Hi, is possible to use remote to control other devices, like smart wifi bulbs? I'm looking for solution to control bulb lights (not LED strips), but would like to connect it to Home Assistant? Or it's working only for LED connected to controller?
@qualar Жыл бұрын
Yes it possible. I do it on mine. You just write a rule to send the colour change to any device you want to change. The device must be able to receive these commands. I use Tasmota and shelly which both can do this.

Does anyone know of a seller still selling the IR version with the ESP8266 device (eg ebay/AliExpress)? I bought two recently and they both had an S9070B chip, no esp. I am trying to do exactly what the video describes.

@NikNak LP when did you purchase it? It seems like all latest model being replaced by the new chip. I m looking for other controllers now

This one worked for me in the end (RGB IR version): a.aliexpress.com/_mMu0ZGn Esp8285 chip but Tasmota flashed fine.

I am having the same issue, I already ordered 4 controllers from different sellers from Ebay and AliExpress, and all of them came with chip BL602L instead of ESP8266, which AFAIK cannot be flashed at the moment. I realised these new models have "100w" in the label instead of "144w". I am desperate to get some of them so if anyone knows of a seller that is still selling the ones with ESP8266 please share

@@elbueno22222 the link above worked but I don’t know if they still sell the correct one. Maybe check the recent reviews.

@Nigerian Prince to be honest I don’t remember 96, 100 or 144 featuring anywhere and I don’t see it on the product descriptions. If you have the espresssif logo on the chip then it is almost certainly the esp8266 (which you can flash).

My, There are only 4 contacts on my circuit board. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any instructions anywhere. The contacts (VPP, SWS, V33 and GND) although the board has the same designations printed on it (94V-0; E331298; ZXH-2) Can you provide any help?

When you are doing the configuration, is the USB still connected to the PC?

Is there a way to do this OTA with a Raspberry Pi and a vtrust-flash network? I've flashed to other devices this way but I can't seem to get this device into the proper mode for the flasher to find it over the air.

hello, great tutorial ! thanks for that ! I juste have one question, how did you doo for the voice controll with alexa ?
@qualar4 жыл бұрын
Just make sure you have Hue Emulation set in Tasmota and a Friendly Name. Then just add it in the Alexa App on your phone.

Can the rules be compiled into the firmware? Instead of inputting through the console, so that you can avoid resetting the lost rules.

Tasmota rules are auto saved to flash

Great video, I followed you I flashed mine and all went well, I can access Tasmota, I configured it like you did, however when I press Toggle the LED doesn't light up. Could I have fried anything while flashing?
