What you can do for now is give your new chord a slightly different name. Eg if you have several B chord shapes you could name them B1, B2 etc.

This program is fantastic I gave a wrong review and said the backing track wasn't working but it was my fault for not ticking the settings correctly worth double the price great for playing live.

Good day Phil, has there been any updates for Lyrics & Chord Manager? I purchased this around 3 maybe 4 years ago. Love the program Nothing in particular I am looking for as far as features except perhaps ability to share it & library I created on an iphone or perhaps even a smart tv.

I have done updates but the app updates itself on your system. If you are looking for any feature in particular just ask and it can be looked at for a future update.

@@qualar Hi do you know if this app can use MIDI? so for example I could use it to Program change an external Pedal board, or do program change or CC in ableton Live?

@@Leono22 If you use a program like this midikey2key.de/ you can convert your midi commands to keyboard command and that should do the trick.

@@qualar I didn't know about that program, but I wanted something that does it automatic, as soon as I change the song it should send the midi signal to change program in a VST in Ableton live. Luckily I've just found one! If anyone need something like that it's name is songrepertoire. I'm on the look to see what of all the setlist apps works for me better...

How can you add Chord formation diagrams that don't show up in the Chord Diagram section of your song display? I notice that when there are multiple different chord formations for the same Chord, the program doesn't put that chord in the diagrams section of the song display. Is there a way to manually add those chords that are annotated on the song but don't show up in the chords formation display?

I have noticed that the chords/diagrams are case sensitive...so if you have a GM7 or a Gm7 or gm7 they will either need a corresponding diagram/name of you have to edit the chords in the song library to match the case of the chord name.

Is rhere a way to change the chord diagrams when the dong is playing? I used a Cadd9 and it is showing a different formation than the one I want to play.

Yes create an extra chord with a new name. eg CADD9. CADD9_ CADD9- etc. Then use that chord name in your text.

I have now tried a few times excact the same song (all like you )enter. I get no chords and lyrics displayed. What am I doing wrong?

Are you able to switch the Chord Names from CDEFG to DO RE MI FA SOL... ?

If you enter the new names they may work. It's not something I have tested. You can download the free trial and see if it works for you.

If I want to change a G for a different G and they are both called the same then how do I do that when in the window with lyrics please? would be better if the chord window opened up on the right hand side so you could drag your choice of chords above the lyrics or right click the wrong G chord and be able to choose from the other inversion/options for songwriting but impressed what you have done so far... I also agree with another comment you could give different colour scheme themes maybe in future too but I do like darker themes for the eyes... currently on Trial Version also... still all those chords and I don't know how to add them to my lyrics as it chooses the wrong G chord... also Capo option and Tuning 432Hz would be great too for future and be able to change the Guitar Chords for Piano Chords also... You've done a good job but at moment it is unusable to be used as a songwriting notepad with chords of my choice purpose. BTW I would pay more if it was improved upon

For chords a hack for now is give each g Chord shape a number at the end. Eg G1 G2 G3. I know this is not perfect but is a fix until I can work out Chord selection.

Very interesting. Are those the only colors the app has? I liked to work on paper... so please provide custom colors... So it looks a bit like working on paper... My (trial) installation gives no audio and has no option to configure this... I use an audio interface.

The reason for the dark colors is do it is not too bright if used live.
