Flash Mob America and over 300 fans celebrated the Los Angeles arrival of IN THE HEIGHTS (the Tony-Winning Best Musical) by surprising the creator and star of the show, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and dancing to the song "96,000"
In the Heights won Broadway's highest honors by first winning its heart. In the Heights is a musical about the importance of home, family and finding where you belong.

I think a lot of stars try to be like that, but the realities of fame (constantly being approached for autographs, conversations, and sometimes even confrontations) don't really let you. No disservice meant to Into the Heights, but in 2010 Miranda just wasn't that big a deal - he was a notable Broadway performer and those in the know had their eye on him, but he hadn't hit true national fame until Hamilton. I wonder how many people were there in 2010, had no idea what they'd just seen, and then some time in 2015-2016 said, "OMG it's that guy they did the flash mob for!!"
