It’s a really nice machine but It’s still pretty expensive but for someone that has a high usage it would be a great tool to have.

Could you do a breakdown video of vapor vs convetional bead blasting? Does media last longer? What is the maintenace? No need for glass film over window? Can you blow through the hose with accidental contact? Seems like it be noce to have a on/off throttle? If you leave the part out, will it eventually flash rust?

Wow 6500k vs. $1000 for nice sand blaster. For the hobbyist not sure its worth the squeeze. Can i make my money back?

Hi @@rickroberts4848 . To address your questions, Vapor Honing does allow the media to last longer as it cushions the abrasive when it impacts your part. The water also enables you to utilize the edge characteristics of your abrasive without damaging sealing surfaces or embedding into softer metals. The maintenance of your machine will depend on your usage amounts, but if you blast every working day for 8 hours straight, the media typically lasts a month. Gloves and windows usually need to be replaced yearly if your machine is used daily. Regarding your question about blowing through the hose, if you are referring to accidentally blasting it, then they will be perfectly fine. We use a high-quality hose that is incredibly durable yet still flexible. Also, the hose is covered under the lifetime warranty that all of our machines ship with! If you are blasting with ferrous metals, they will flash rust after blasting unless they are properly dried. Vapor Honing also has a proprietary corrosion inhibitor that can be mixed into your machine and guarantees parts stay rust-free for 72 hours. The corrosion inhibitor does not affect post-coatings or processes. Lastly, I want to emphasize that you can definitley recoup your investment with a Vapor Honing machine! We have hundreds of customers offering Vapor Honing as a service, and they are charging $75 and up, depending on the abrasive. A good machine option for a hobbyist user is the Weekend Warrior, which is the same size cabinet as the VH800 FL seen in this video! I will put a link to the Weekend Warrior below. vaporhoningtechnologies.com/win%20with%20the%20weekend%20warrior/ Make sure to check out our youtube channel, we have a few sandblast versus Vapor Honing videos!
