Let alone work together daily during challenging situations and getting through it well together thinking 💭 instead of getting upset and delaying the thinking ❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸 you are lucky. Both of you. God Bless and keep it up 👍🏼🇺🇸

I've called those birds 'sea gulls' all my life, and I live by the Salt water. But last year we took our RV to Alaska and found out from a forest ranger there are no birds called 'sea gulls', they are just gulls. There are many Different kinds of gulls. It's sorts like calling a Bison a buffalo. Thanks for your channel, never miss an episode.

I am not a farmer but I really enjoy the window into a different lifestyle than my own. I appreciate any time you take the time to explain things. Would love to know why you want the peak up in the bins. I’m sure it’s got something to do with the way the air flows from the fans through the grain but I don’t know the why.

Fall tillage was always my favorite job on the farm. A crisp weekend afternoon cruising across stubble while listening to football on AM radio. Good times.
@davidcolgan32682 ай бұрын
This video took me back 50+ yrs. As a couple of naive teenagers, my brother and I attempted farming. Probably the most enjoyable part was fall tillage but only 56” a pass with a 4 x 14” plow behind a JD 720D. And your comments about tile brought up another memory about 80 acres we were renting. It was very wet, and the landowner had already bought the 4” tile but would not pay anyone to install it. Good luck with corn harvest. May you issues be few!

With my inherent fear of heights there's NO ways I could climb your grain bins. I'm a retired Shell Oil employee from Zimbabwe and it was all I could do climb their fuel tanks for dipping !! At least their stairs curved around the tank and had a handrail !! NOT like your vertical ladder without side hand rail etc !! They're scary, but you don't seem to have a problem climbing them !! Good for you, Zach !! Been following your channel (off and on) for a couple years now !! So great to see your family from time-to-time - especially young Onyyx who is not only growing so fast but is also a BIG helper on your farm !! I'm sure both your Dad and wife are proud of his help, as well as that cute daughter of yours !! God Bless your entire family !!

When I did moldboard plowing back in the 70s/80s the seagulls always seem to show up out of no where and bring their friends with them. They liked that fresh soil being turned over so they had their pick of the earth worms. Seem like they had built in sonar to where ever there was some plowing going on.

Thanks for the video everyone!!!’ It was interesting. Busy time for everyone. Harvest season is always busy busy. Thanks for explaining some of the processes with your grain bin system. Some of those parts are extremely hard to get at. Can see why you need a crane to reach some of the parts. Wow. Glad you were able to get the tillage machine going. Onyx is doing a good job with the tillage machine. He is really growing into a lot of the projects on the farm. Doing good onyx. Combines running good in the beans. Corn 🌽 harvest next you are saying. That is a busy time. Good to see Jim helping. Hi to your dad also. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

That way with the busy season we can see what day stuff is going on since the videos aren’t able to be uploaded same day. Those of us who follow you on social media see what you post daily. Would be nice to compare days and see progression. Keep up the good content. Thanks!

You mentioned elevators. In my younger days, when I would climb the derrick on drilling rigs, we had a harness attached to a cable, which went uo to a pulley and had a counter weight on the other end. It was like climbing in zero gravity. You may want into look into it. Made it so easy and didn't burn you out by the time you got to the top.
