I used to have this growing up after many people asked questions about my feet I realized the problem and began exercising and stregthening my feet many times flat feet is due to lack of foot flexing and correct ankle tightening and positioning in the knee and ankles.

In fact, there are at least 40 causes of flat feet. Some respond to strengthening and some do not. Sometimes having flat feet is a problem and some times it is perfectly normal for that individual. It's great that strengthening might have helped you but that has no bearing on another person's situation.

My daughter is 8, and I just recently noticed that she has flatfeet. I was seriously concerned in the beginning, but after some more research I think it is just normal for her. I am still having a hard time understanding why she has flat feet, because she is super energetic and good at many sports. She is also very fit and agile. Maybe one of the reason is that she likes to jump from height... For example from top of a slide at the playground that is about 5 ft high.

Sometimes is not a problem,but sometimes they feel pain like my kid,sometimes he wakes up crying,so his doctor told me to get the arch support 🥹his doctor say the somes kids doesn’t have any problems like pain,and there are somes that feel a lot pain,thanks god my kid feel pain sometimes,no always,

I have had flat feet my entire life, I just turned 17 and started Lacrosse season and I can’t do the 2 mile run because my feet and ankles started hurting

My child has flat feet .I was noticing his ankle... from 1 years of age. I though ... it with be straight after as year as he walks nicely.. but now he is 5years. Please suggest me , what types of footwear should I want to buy for him. Should I want to give massage to his ankle and feet.

If a child has “normal” foot structure, no problems with feet at all, do they need an orthotic? Are orthotics for people with foot problems? Do you need orthotics when you are an adult?

Talk to your pediatrician first. Some kids just walk later than others. It may not be the flat feet at all. In fact, most babys have flat feet.

That is a ProLab P3 Kiddythotic. Unfortunately that is only available from medical professionals. Although I think that is the best OTC device for children with flat feet you can find some good alternatives that are available online here - I would recommend the PowerStep PowerKids: www.footankle.com/orthotics/off-the-shelf/prefabricated-kids/

Im 11 and I have a flat feet and Sometimes my bottom feet hurts both of my feet especially when its cold...:( so does that mean I need surgery :o
